Great cruise as long as you don’t expect to be waited on like on other cruise lines. Staff is only there to do what’s necessary, nothing extra. Except the room attendant. He went the extra mile.

Get your walking shoes on. It's a large ship. Serenity area has a hidden gem... has a wonderful large, salad bar but its only opened on sea days.

Take the times to learn the ship as early as possible it will save a lot of traffic jams from stopping in the flow of traffic.

We traveled with my sister in law who has sailed many times. She navigated the reservation system for our time dining. One night we ate on our own at Cucina del capitan and had to wait almost an hour for a table. Be ready to wait for table and your food to be served. Typical evening meal would take 2 hours.

It is difficult to get a good seat for the shows happening on "Center Stage", you must get there very early or you will be in the room, but your best view will be a monitor.

Have patience when using the elevators, and look around at who was there waiting before you, just because an elevator arrives doesn’t mean you should hop right on, be courteous

Don't go. I'd either sail on a smaller, standard size ship. Or just understand that you're paying less with Carnival for a reason. Don't set expectations too high.
