Review summary

This was our first time on the Mardi Gras. This is a beautiful ship! We found it easy to get around and spacious. Our son loved the sports court and waterworks. The bolt was awesome! I've heard mixed reviews about the Mardi Gras, so I was a little worried at first. After being on it, however, I truly enjoyed it. Great ship, great crew, great experiences. Thank you, Carnival!

FTTF makes things a lot smoother in our opinion.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was good. Lines weren't too bad. The check-in on the app worked fairly well. The only issue were the wait times.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Always something to do! The Bolt was an awesome experience. Water slides were fantastic as well.

Service and Staff

The Carnival Crew are always good.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We got around pretty well on the ship. The elevators were annoying at times, but that's why there's stairs!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had a cove balcony. The room had a lot of storage but felt smaller than on other ships. The shower door was great! No fighting with the curtain.

Ship tip

Have patience. Relax and enjoy!
