Explore all the dining options (free and fee) in advance. Make reservations at the specialty seafood and steak houses before your cruise if possible. Lots of "sold out" days/times.

Based on how small the venues are, it's nearly impossible to see all of the comedy shows or other dance and singing shows that you would like. On our cruise people were waiting up to an hour in line to get a seat for comedy shows and we weren't even at full capacity.

The ship is huge. Do your homework and learn the ship layout prior to sailing. 7 days simple isn’t enough time to take in the entire ship. The exciting thing is the cabins now have ample USB ports throughout to charge all of your devices

I would recommend using the carnival hub app to its fullest potential. It made communicating with our party, scheduling our dinners or coordinating events so much easier.

It’s huge - wear confortable walking shoes. Also, ignore the upselling the spa staff will impose, but ensure you go to the thermal suite. It’s amazing!

Be open minded with new experience, especially if you are used to other Carnival ships. I heard many comments from people that didn’t like how big the ship was, and the unfamiliar layout. The ship has a lot to offer. Make sure to attend the big events around the ship and let yourself have fun. Choose your time dining was very convenient to us so that we were able to attend the shows we wanted to see, as well as dine when we were hungry.

Hit up the salad bar in the Serenity Deck. Not too many people know about it but it had anything you’d want to put in a salad - delicious!

Prepare to walk. She is a big ship. I probably would not choose balcony on I think 9,10 or 11. Certainly not in the area of our room as your balcony is not private.

It's a big ship so bring walking shoes as elevators are slow and fill fast. Get to shows and events about 30 minutes early for good seats.
