Review summary

Plenty of restaurants, lido marketplace wasn’t fully open almost all the cruise. This created long lines to get specialty food (omelets, brats,). We was told by a few of the staff that this was the first cruise for the ramped up capacity and I think they was understaffed for the number of guest on this cruise. Overall a great time and me and my family had a enjoyable vacation.

Luna at the Lido Marketplace was always a highlight of eating there Jay at the Lido pool was always there when I needed a fresh drink

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

Wasn’t impressed with Amber Cove. We took the beach trip. The facilities was nice. Clean bathrooms plenty of beach chairs and nice food area the beach was dirty, the water was not like most in the Caribbean. There was another ship that docked about the same time as us and it really overburdened the excursion people. This caused our excursion to be late. Carnival needs to stagger their arrivals a little better

Grand Turk Island

Wow. This was an awesome port. We took the all inclusive beach excursion. What a beautiful place it was. Excellent service the Rum punch was very good. Be sure to try the I-Soon Reach beer. Bring your beach shoes. The coral is pretty rough on bare feet

What a beautiful city. We just enjoyed walking the streets. Was kinda disappointed in Senor Frogs. They had a complete dining room in the back part empty and wouldn’t open it. Didn’t feel like waiting and hour to eat
