Do your research before picking this ship. I am so glad I did but there were things even I had to figure out on my own. Take a Xanax before using the elevators or get yourself a room that’s in close proximity to most of the things you want to do. She’s a big girl.

Wear comfortable shoes. If Alchemy is your bar of choice, get there early. The place fills up quickly and soon they are 2 and 3 deep ordering drinks

If you really want to ride Bolt, book early and don’t necessarily wait for a sea day to ride it. It can get canceled due to wind. Ours was canceled three times before we were able to ride (during a sea day).

Know that cash is still used on board for tipping, and that all receipts do include an initial 18% gratuity. I missed that part the first 3 days. They add the overall tip requirements to your sail and sign card a couple of days before the end of the trip.

Bathroom light tap top for full light & tap bottom for lower light which is great for those late night visits. Muffins, fresh fruit, granola & breakfast sandwiches are good & free at Coffee place near Center Stage, 6 mid ship. Get seats up front at Center Stage shows at least 30 minutes before showtimes. Definitely use app onboard especially for reserving dinner with just 10 - 15 minute wait time. No library so bring your own reading material. The coffee machine at Pig & Anchor is supposedly the best self service machine on the ship. If you only drink tea, know that they only have Nugelow Green Tea, some no name brand jasmine tea, regular black tea & a decaffeinated black tea.

Make sure you try all of the new food options on board if you can. Book your reservations ahead of time to save time when you’re on the ship. Lots of these places are only exclusive to this ship so keep that in mind, :)

Wear your mask and keep your distance. Carnival is not enforcing the wearing of masks like they should be. My family and worn our mask all the time, but some how my wife and I got COVID. We got tested as soon as we got back to SC and it came back postive.
