Review summary

My wife and I had a great cruise everything from the crew to the food all of the venues it was an experience I’ll always be trying to live up to on my next cruises. One week was simply not enough time on this amazing new ship really hated to go home

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We’re in group A12 I believe didn’t have to wait in the terminal any longer than 30 minutes, did seem like carnival was possibly still having to work out the kinks of getting everyone off before we could get on

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The variety of food on this ship is 2nd to none, and everything was mostly up to par. These chef just came back to work and are having difficulty getting all the supplies that they need. I’m sure that we will be back to pre pandemic standards asap. Street eats, big chicken, chibang are all a must

Bar della Rosa

4 out of 5

Spent a lot of time here as it is the only smoking bar, staffing needs weren’t always up to par

Flamingo Restaurant

4 out of 5

Only ate here once as all the other options

Big Chicken by Shaq

5 out of 5

I absolutely love this venue breakfast and lunch, it’s honestly what I’ll miss most on future cruises

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was always something to do never a dull moment

Patio Pool & Whirlpool

5 out of 5

Normal lido deck atmosphere

Serenity Adult-Only area

5 out of 5

The best place to relax on the whole ship

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff from dining room, bartenders, and our room steward Lani were above and beyond

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship is immaculate in all ways design function and practicality. The state room designs are a breath of fresh air can’t forget about the shower door in the bathroom

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We stayed in an interior cabin on deck 14 forward. Cabin design was spacious very comfortable and very clean our room Stewart Lani did a great job.

Ship tip

It’s a massive ship, try everything that you can you won’t regret it

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
Not my favorite stop lots of walking and rough terrain. Very old and honestly we ended up in the nasty side of town

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
Had a blast in amber cove. The pool was just what we needed and love the swim up bar. Bring cash sign & sail no good

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Was a smooth disembarkation as much as you hate to leave
