This one was very close to perfect! No issues to report. We loved every minute of every day
Embarkation

Outstanding. Show up about 30 minutes past your embarkation time. This allows you to almost walk right on the ship

Food and Dining

I didn’t have one bad meal. For the inaugural year Chibang and Cucina were included for any time dining. This was a great option that alleviated wait times in the dining room. We did the Texan yak I on our final night and it was delicious. Rudy’s sea Grille was so good. We went to main dining twice and ordered from the Steakhouse menu. Guys Burgers was yummy. Shaqs was ok. Street eats was a cool and delicious alternative. The only thing I didn’t love was the breakfast buffet. Lots of average food

Bolt was so cool! Best cruise activity ever. We also love the Dive in movies. We did buy the spa package (steam room, sauna etc) but the ship was crowded and the spa was always too busy. We only went once so waste of money. New Years Eve celebration of Lido was unreal. So fun
Entertainment

Don’t miss the shows the grand central. Especially the V for Vegas show. Wow! Mike is the very best of the best cruise directors. We’ve sailed with him 3 times now and he is top notch. Sail away is always a blast. We saw a few comedians who were ok but seemed to quite enjoy bringing up black/white issues and making fun of white people. Not funny! The main singing group, Resystance was the best.

Mike Pack is the best of the best cruise director. We’ve sailed with him two other times on Horizon and he gives his best every time. (I miss Matt though). Our room steward, Super Duper (that’s all I remember) was outstanding.
Ship Quality

Everything was easy to find once you go the layout down. Everything was spotless at all times
Cabin / Stateroom

I LOVE Carnivals mattresses. The rooms are small but for two people it was plenty of space. Lots of storage everywhere so never felt like there was no where to put things
Ship tip
RIDE BOLT!!!! And get a balcony. Nothing like going into and out of ports of call.
Of all our 13 Carnival cruises, this was our first visit to Roatan. We loved it and can’t wait to get back. We did do a snorkel excursion through the ship but it really isn’t necessary. The port area built by Carnival is a party in paradise. Food, drinks, floating mats. What more do you need
Disembarkation is by your muster station. (Genius) and we were off the ship in 15 minutes. The main holdup was getting an elevator from the higher floors because we carried off our luggage.
