Be sure to check out the Hollywood Pool Club on the 17th deck forward. Once you walk past the indoor pool and hot tubs, at the very front are cubbies/cabanas and huge windows that give you great views. We were able to watch dolphins and humpback whales from the primo spots in front. Lovely place to relax with a book and a cocktail.

Pay for the lower priced drink package, so worth the money and it covers your basic tips too.

Look at where your dining room booking is before choosing your cabin, we ended up doing a lot of walking. No a problem for us but those with mobility issues could struggle.

Bring your Glen 20, your own wipes, and your own face masks. Follow the Covid guidelines the captain sets out on a daily basis and stay safe the best you can and enjoy your cruise to the fullest.

We found our sailing on the Majestic Princess to be one of, if not our favourite cruise so far. All the staff were accommodating, knowledgeable & professional. We found the dining to be superb & our waiters all went "above & beyond". Truly, a magical cruise, filled with cherished memories.

Know that if you are booked in any of the main dining room, they can and will probably change you to a different dining room, even after you've eating in the same one for the last 3 or 4 nights!

Thoroughly explore the ship upon embarkation. We didn’t learn about certain lovely features until we’ll into the cruise.

The cabin has motion sensitive lights that come on at night when you need to go to the bathroom. Very bright had the cabin steward put foil tape over the sensor so that it didn't wake us up in the middle of the night. Very poor design

As this a big ship, do your homework and check your pick a Cabin to a central location

Skip it and go to a smaller ship like the Grand Princess that still understands what customer service is.

Watch your onboard account, there were numerous occasions of them putting invalid charges on it. Their accounting system is odd, I'd prefer to see both charges and credits, but they only showed charges. If something got cancelled they just removed it, so it was more difficult to reconcile.
