First time on a Princess cruise. We’re impressed and will do another with them. They rate highly with us among cruise lines. We’ll worth the money!

Very nice layout. Quite comfortable.

Ship tip

Thoroughly explore the ship upon embarkation. We didn’t learn about certain lovely features until we’ll into the cruise.

Ports of call

Sydney, Australia

Flew in early and explored city on our own. Recommend Hop-on Hop -off bus.

Melbourne, Australia

Free city trolley was recommended so we took it. Big mistake - no a good way at all to see the city. Center city is 3 miles from the port - another drawback.

Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

Awesome place. Did a Shore Excursions excursion. Wonderful day. Fed kangaroos from our hands at a sanctuary for native animals. Also saw Tasmanian Devils in action - amazing experience!

Did a Viator excursion. Visited a penguin sanctuary and the Albatross Center. Another amazing experience!

Lyttleton (Christchurch), New Zealand

City tour (Viator) where we learned all about the earthquake and the rebuilding process. Fascinating!

Picton, New Zealand

Did a wine tour. Visited 3 great wineries, a chocolatier, and a brewery. Nice day!

Tauranga, New Zealand Did not visit port

Weather (storm that flooded the island) prevented us from docking there. Consequently, our excursion to Hobbiton got canceled. 🙁

Auckland, New Zealand

Rented a condo right on Prince’s Wharf where we docked. Took a Tuk-Tuk (Viator) tour of the city - so so. Then rented a private vehicle (Viator) to go to Hobbiton. Worth the extra expense - Hobbiton is amazing!
