Review summary

don't have them pick you up at airport--they don't. We paid 105.00 for a taxi with this doozy. 2. Engine failure on majestic common 3. boarding 3 1/2 hours!! 4.Short changed us on koala sanctuary which was the reason we did this cruise. 5. french restaurant is a health hazard--and zero ambience ---it was a open bar area converted to be a french restaurant with ZERO walls or french feel. Majestic prinesss is a big mistake

Entertainment

Cruise Willis Island, Australia

1 out of 5
joke--you never get off ship

Brisbane, Australia

4 out of 5
lone pine koala was listed as 5 hours---we got in late due to engine problems so left at 11AM then drove downtown for 2 LONG hours seeing every stinking building, stopped 1 time for 1/2 hr which was total waste of time so finally spent 1 hr 40 min seeing lone pine---unable to hold koalas by then and all other animals were overfed by 4 other buses that were there before us. Traveled 23 hrs to hold a koala and PRINCESS cruises ripped us off--there discription doesn't have this bus sitting listed-Please note we did the exact cruise and excursions in 2019 on ruby and it was the best time we ever had. Totally ripped off and will never ever use princess again on this horrible disgusting bus trip minus koalas.(please note: lone pine is awesome but you want more than 1 h4 0 min to see it)

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
usual

Were you not told Willis Island is a sail by? Sounds like you’ve had an absolutely awful time of it. We were on the cruise before you LA to Sydney and the delays in you embarking (& us disembarking on the 20th) were largely because passengers getting off with incomplete immigration cards and bringing prohibited food ashore. We were 2 hrs late in getting off as a result of people not listening or thinking they’re above the border requirements coming into Australia. Hopefully the weather was at some point kind given then amount of rain we’ve had.

I'd be disappointed too if I'd traveled all that way and didn't get to hold a koala! We were on this ship in June for an Alaska Cruise, and we really enjoyed it. Sorry your experience was not as good.
