Review summary

Had a fantastic holiday lots of Ports with enough sea days. Lovely ship, very big with 3600 passengers sometimes an issue especially on tender ports. Weather was nice until we got to Suva and Savu Savu pouring rain there both days. Can’t help the weather but it’s apparently notorious for rain which I didn’t know. Dining in MDR most nights very good, speciality dining also very good. Would definitely recommend this ship. Great shows and entertainment staff.

Ship tip

Such a large ship, even if you choose anytime dining go and book a table for the whole cruise, did wait quite a few times with a beeper as it was very busy.

On Princess you can take two bottles of wine on to the ship to either drink in your cabin or in dining room but I believe they charge corkage if you take it to the dining room. We don’t usually bother. Wine was not that expensive no surcharge and they can keep the bottle for next evenings dining if you don’t finish it.

Hi guys thank you ... can you take a bottle of wine on board and soft drinks cans we do normally take soft drinks but not wine but have read on here some people are on princess cruises are talking wine ? but we know carnival Australia and customs is totally different than American .. they normally don't let you take any alcohol on board in Australia ( carnival anyway )and not a big deal but would be interested to know ? What do you guys think ?

You can’t book the theatre just try and get there at least half hour before the show starts and try to go in the middle of the theatre.

Hi book the table once you are on the ship, you can’t do it beforehand.
