My husband's first cruise! We are ready to book the next one!

Cruise was good, relaxing. We had been to Nassau many times so no need to get off ship. Took advantage of the uncrowded pool area at that port. Food could of been better but the service in the dinningrooms was excellent. Entertainment was also nothing special. Seems things have changed alot since the pandemic...very sad.

Will definitely take another cruise and will tell others about the great experiences we had.

We had no great expections for this cruise we needed quiet time for personal reasons and fortunately that is what we found. I do not think anyone who wanted a full packed nonstop activities cruise would have found what they were looking for .

Crossing the Atlantic was a birthday wish. With the ship only half-full and no children, it was peaceful. Shows were not a highlight but musicians were superb. All we really cared about was having decent food and drinks and relaxing and gazing out into the ocean. Not sure if we would have liked being on a full ship. A good portion of the passengers onboard walked around with sour expressions and were not friendly at all. At least three days we had rough seas and the promenade was closed. The captain made changes to the itinerary that kept us from even worse conditions.

The ship had only 1100 passengers which made for a less than crowded voyage. Perfect ports, nice weather and fabulous crew.

This was a great experience on a great ship. The impressive thing was even with so many new inexperienced crew members the whole crew worked together and provided a great experience. We observed numerous times where training was taking place and the trainer was very patient and courteous. This is a real tribute to the culture at Royal Caribbean.

A relaxing transatlantic with a couple of last minute port changes which the onboard crew handled beautifully. Wonderful service. I’d do it again!

Transatlantic cruises provide great value. These cruises are great if you enjoy onboard activities.

Unfortunately, there were too many tender ports. The tenders took time and reduced the time we could spend in port and on excursions. The daily cruise update sheets were very helpful but not well written. I do not mean to be too critical, but the information about the ports, what was on shore, the information on transportation (taxi's, trains, bus locations), the distance and time between places, etc., was often confusing and sometimes wrong. We were a group of six and everyone agreed, they were not written well. It would be an easy fix. Simply have someone review for accuracy, clarity, grammer, and spelling. Also, the $25 fee for what was basically a second tender in the one port was unexpected. Seemed like RC should have gotten us where we needed to go on their tenders. Overall, the food was of poor quality and not very good. All that said, the staff was great and we had a fun time. Hope this review helps.

As mentioned - this was our first time on RCL. We had high expectations as we had always heard good reviews of RCL. Disappointed. Over 25 prior cruises with Carnival, Celebrity, Norwegian, Princess, and one on Holland. This ties for last place. The ship is fine. Design, condition, cleanliness all good. Food was hit & miss as described previously, and service in the Windjammer was the worst that we have ever experienced. With Windjammer closed from 3:30 - 6pm, it was often a scramble to get something to eat after an excursion - there are almost no options during those hours. Overall we enjoyed the vacation as the places we visited were good - it just could have been better if the food & service were improved.

Overall we had a wonderful time on this cruise trip. We think RCI should bring back the purchase of wine bottle packages sold on the first day of the cruise.

Quite relaxing with just right amount of sea days.

My wife was not feeling well during the cruise. We both caught a cold in Amsterdam and neither of us felt the best the entire trip. She was also hampered with a tight back and ailing hip which made her getting around difficult. That had a lot to do with my disappointment during this cruise.

The ports were great and that I overshadowed the ship and everything lacking onboard. I would not recommend this ship until it gets updated.

The condition of the ship is embarrassing. If this had been my first cruise, I probably would never take another cruise. You hear how beautiful/clean/friendly the staff are on the ships from people, this one is not that way. We have 17 cruises down. I’ve never complained to a room steward. I did on our first day. Nothing happened. I’ve never written a list of issues until jewel of the sea. We don’t just pay for a room and do the included/free stuff. We ended this cruise with an additional $4700 in charges. We payed good money for a sub par ship and bad service.

Was it a a good cruise, yes was it great No.? The lack of certain wines coverage on the drink package, there should have been an adjustment of the price we paid. The ship being so old and showing its age effected the overall enjoyment.

Good cruise, but we found the passengers were a bit older than we expected. Not many kids on this cruise for our daughter to interact with. Scottish ports were our favorites. Ireland was great scenery, but the Royal excursion tour guides were not very good.

Great ship, great itinerary, poor customer service, undertrained or overworked staff. No encouragement or enforcement of Covid protocol or social distancing. We were all piled up in Theater for long periods waiting for excursions
