We had no great expections for this cruise we needed quiet time for personal reasons and fortunately that is what we found. I do not think anyone who wanted a full packed nonstop activities cruise would have found what they were looking for .

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Buffet was good, needs more non spicy selections for people who need tasty yet blander choices. I/we do not go to specialty restaurants for various reasons. We never had a problem with bar attendants, or any of the crew all that we interacted with were fantastic.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We were not very active Iin many of the activities we did the trivias other than repeat cruisers ( back to back to back folks) most were fun but it is discouraging for those of us who haven't already answered those questions several times already th the last couple of weeks to see these people basically cheat for a bad bottle of bubbly and a ship on a stick.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Went to a couple movies , due to weather etc several shows were canceled. Descriptions of events were vague on the app and I feel that could be done better.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Buffet staff were fantastic. I personally feel that the wonderful people who are assigned the task of keeping the restrooms clean and stocked deserve the highest praise available to them, they were fantastic never without a smile, and pleasant word for anyone they encountered, truely great representatives for Royal Caribbean.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Older ship, needs some TLC. The baffling thing to us was that the ice and water station was behind the buffet meaning that when the buffet was closed between mealtimes they were not easily accessible.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
We had a balcony cabinn it was serviceable but not much more, For the age of the ship it was in good condition no major problems were found but it could use a refresh as the furnature was getting quite warn, especially the small couch which was very broken down.
Ship tip
If you want all the bells and whistles you will be disappointed, if you want a smaller ship this one should work we had no major issues with amenities but again we were not looking for an action packed trip.
We did not use excursions on embarkation or debarkation day, our route changed so the two ports listed above were not visited, the 2 ports we did visit were not listed and the excursions available were scant and sold out before they were announced, we found that very strange and when we asked about an excursion that was posted on the excursion desk monitor we were told it was canceled due to lack of interest, ( this was within an hour of the excursion desk being open for booking of excursions, quess we should have been in the front of the line not an hour behind)
Trivia isn't as fun anymore. The last couple of cruises I've been on I've had to compete with ship staff on their day off, so there's almost no chance of winning.
