Review summary

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise, it was our 2nd thru the Greek Isles and our favorite part had to be the Ruins tour in Ephesus Turkey,  even visiting the 2nd time blows your mind, and best part was that you get to get up close actually inside the building and ruins.  The only part of the cruise that was disappointing was the Windjammer café onboard,  we are long time cruisers and I have to say that the staff in the Café was the worst I have ever seen at sea on any cruise,  rude, and very unhelpful, and it wasn't only the stuff even the officers working were unpleasant.  And several times they would have conversations and argument out in public café area,  and that should never happen around guest.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food was extremely bland and not a lot of selection, very cafeteria food style

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

3 out of 5
lounge performs were great, but the shows on board were so low quality we never made it thru a show before getting so bored and leaving

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was CLEAN, but figuring it had just gone thru a 30 million dollar refurbishment, there was still lot of stuff that needed fixing, rips in uplolstry, rushing pool area, railing that were marked up and peeling,

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great Cabin with full balcony view. Great cabin room attendant

Ship tip

Book your excursions in advance before cruise if possible, but if you are onboard and need to book something or change something always do it via the TV system in the room, if you go to guest services for help they are always way understaffed and you waste a good hour or more in line .

On our cruise 3/ 2016 only a few tux . Again saw suit & tie . Even a few collared shirts. Formal night is not as fancy as past cruises .

I wonder if they changed out a lot of the staff after the Jewel left the Caribbeans ? We were onboard in March , the crew was 1 of the best . A great staff can make your cruise amazing or not so good .
