Review summary

We were pretty bored. Not a lot to do onboard on sea days. Musical entertainment poor except for Danny the guitar player/singer and the party band. All entertainment really meant for much older crowd (we’re 52 and 65). Ship is older; rumor was the that it is going to dry dock for refurbishment after this summer season.

Skagway, Alaska

Men went on fishing excursion; women went on cheesy Legends and Lies excursion.

Juneau, Alaska

Beautiful city. Went on Whale Watching/Salmon Bake excursion which was excellent and well worth the money.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Fun, bustling port; lots to see and do. Men went on fishing/wilderness dining excursion; ladies went on snorkeling excursion.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Took Hop On/Hop Off with luggage to hotel excursion. Although it is nice not to have to worry about claiming and transporting your luggage, we didn’t think the whole thing was worth $119 apiece. DEFINITELY visit Granville Island and the market there!

Loved the charm of the Island Princess and her modest size. Had a great time on Alaskan cruise on the Island. We were a group ages 55 to 63 and not a boring moment.
