It was a very relaxing and delightful cruise. The only thing I was not happy with was our promenade room. I was disappointed with it.

Overall, I found the trip relaxing. However, the food was absolutely miserable, and the state of the ship is in dire need of refurbishment and furniture replacement. Old and unpleasant lounge chairs / sofas all over. Just looks like it's been in service for a very long time with a very rough crowd.

Loved being back on IOS! Enjoyed addition of Cupcake Cupboard and PANDORA store since last sailing. Beautiful ship. Staff always beyond friendly. Entertainment top notch. Food plentiful and delicious. Not as tech savvy overall as Harmony but did get an internet package and it was pretty fast. Can’t wait for her upcoming refit!

You will not be disappointed to sail on this ship

We had a blast! This was our first cruise- worried about getting sea sick, etc. but this was the perfect amount of days for our first trip. Tons of stuff to do on the ship. Good food, friendly staff, drink package a must! It as overall great!

We went on the 2/24/18 Sailing for a wedding on board the ship. We had a fantastic time! The splash zone for the kids was great and the dinning room service we received was great. There were some disappointments though, first the quality of food overall has slightly declined, this is most noticeable in the promenade where the sandwiches they served were not good at all. Room service is no longer complimentary, and there is a 7.99 service charge assessed for each room service order. Other than that, it is a great shop that did not feel crowded and would definitely recommend.

We had a great time! We were on the last cruise before the 2.0 upgrade. Everything was very well done. Food was awesome - we mostly enjoyed Wind Jammer over the sot down dinner. There was a great variety of food and mostly different every day.

The ship is beautiful, the food delicious. The entertainment wa great. Bathrooms kept clean. The pools and hot tub was great. It was so much food morning noon and night..The workers . I really will sail was great kind and respectful sail again...

Another fantastic cruise. Seas were very choppy and we had brisk wind for all but the last couple of days. Speaks well for the crew that the weather didn't impact our enjoyment of our cruise at all.

Had an amazing 5 day cruise on Independence with my wife, sister and brother in law. The seas were rough the first 3 days but the staff treated us so well it didn’t matter. The main dining hall (Romeo and Juliet) was awesome especially our waiter , Alvin and assistant waiter, Juliana. We made sure we at at their section daily because they were that awesome!!!!!

Fun for a first timer! I want to do it again and experience a true cruise and not the chartered Rock Legends Cruise. (Although, I'd totally do that again too!)

Overall it was a great trip for us, with our 6 children. My parents and sister came to help as well. They had their own rooms.

Great 5 day cruise. Very good food and excellent service in both MDR and Windjammer. Shows were great, especially Grease. Ship is starting to show its age, but is clean and well maintained. Will be on Independence again after the refurb. I actually thought the crew and food were better on Independence than on Freedom, even though they are nearly identical. We will be on Freedom again in a few weeks, so I will update my review after that cruise.

This trip was a rewarding experience to myself and wife who find ourselves working even when we are on vacation. We finally overcame that by going on this cruise where we had the freedom to enjoy each other's company in the comfort and splendor on board the Independence Of The Seas. We are already planning a family vacation in the not too distant future.

Other than seeing family and friends. I really didn't care that much for the cruise itself.

My sister and I had an amazing time!! This ship was so fun, and the crew were great! Will definitely sail again with Royal Caribbean! The food was great, and we loved the shows.

It was our first cruise and already planning another one for next year we will only travel on Royal Caribbean

I have been on RC in the past and had a really good time. It seemed lack luster this time and I didn't feel that there were a lot of activities. The food was alright. I enjoyed myself more on Carnival. My stateroom attendant was the best. He was very polite and accommodating. My 4 yo enjoyed kids club and they had tons of activities planned for the kids. The slots didn't want to pay anything out.
