Overall it was a great trip for us, with our 6 children. My parents and sister came to help as well. They had their own rooms.

Entertainment

The actors and singers were very talented and professional. Shows like Grease and the ice skating shows were phenominal and full of talent. I'm giving this 4 stars because the ship itself is very family friendly (and this was purchased during the kids sail free sale), but the evening entertainment was very inappropriate for children (language, sexual content- and not just from Grease). Even the ice show had sexual dance moves.Kids club ran in the evenings too, but we booked the vacation so we could experience these things as a family. My kids would have LOVED a musical! Or even a clean comedian. They enjoyed the impersonator, as that was mostly G rated. And they loved dancing at the end.

Children's Programs

Kids loved the kids clubs! Science and Art activities made for a great time! Lots of games. Each day had a different theme.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had the royal family suite to sleep our family of 8. 6 children 8 years old and under. Very nice set up; 2 bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms and TVs. A hallway between rooms, and a living room with TV and pull out sectional couch. Furniture was very outdated and worn, but we knew the ship was expected for a renovation in April 2018. We sailed in Februrary 2018. Our Royal Family Suite came with lots of extras brought to our room daily (cheeses, wine, fruit, etc). And priority boarding and luggage claim. The conceirge lounge is like something out of a james bond movie. After experiencing all the upgrades from a suite/gold seapass , I don't know if we could ever go back to a regular stateroom/blue seapass.

Ship tip

Hair dryers are awful. Low power, and you have to hold down the button to keep it on. If it was more powerful this wouldn't be an issue. But with 4 daughters and myself, it is painful! It hurt just to do my own hair!

OVERPRICED. Wait for Cozumel, much cheaper. They wanted $12 USD for keychain!, Cozumel had them for $1-$2 advertised.

Lots more to do. More history. Excursions are better here.

ONE podium was open to scan thousands of guests off the ship. ONE.
