The waste of space cup cake shop is turning into a waste of space sweet shop. There is also a waste of space fish and chip stall opening on the pool deck, as if I am going to part with extra cash for food which won't be a patch on our local chippy. Agree with the comments on the cafe promenade, it seemed to have much more limited choice last year and had the same items every day.

I am afraid that Royal is cutting way back in their quality and quantity of complimentary food offerings, as a way to push passengers into paying for a better food experience in specialties. I am looking at the Liberty of the Seas for my 50th Anniversary family cruise in March 2020, because the ship itself looks great, and the port is a new port for us, but I am a bit worried about the food issues if they don’t step up their game. Our last 2 cruises were on NCL, after sailing 2 RCCL and 5 Carnival ships prior to those two NCL, and I have to say that NCL’s complimentary and specialty food choices win, hands down!

We were on indy last sept.Gotta agree the food on promenade wasn't great.Was better on navigator. couldnt get tuna rolls.Which were readily availiable on nav. Thats my only complaint.Oh and that waste of space which was the cupcake shop. didnt see 1 person in there in 14 days. Still looking forward to this sept.Going on her again.
