Review summary

Our first cruise and it didn’t disappoint. The food and drink were exemplary. The staff were great - nothing was too much trouble. I didn’t like the groups of teens wondering around without parents until 1am. The curfew is too late. The teens were unruly and out of control. In my opinion the pool area doesn’t work for as many guests as were on the ship. Plenty of sun-beds but not enough space. I don’t like having to almost climb over sunbathers when I want to get up. I think there are too many passengers for the activities but this could be because of the school holidays. The cabin was nice - basic but clean and there was enough storage space. All in all it was a lovely holiday but I won’t be cruising every year or more frequently like others I know.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was immaculate. The staff were amazing and the food delicious. The buffet was good quality food and lots of choice. Seating was typical buffet and was an effort to find a table.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The pools were too busy and the sun beds near the pool were always taken but it was summer hols. Not sure why the smoking area is near the kids pool. Would have preferred a smoking area away from the kids. The activities were pretty physical and not so suitable for those with limited mobility. The quizzes etc were few and far between with huge gaps in entertainment.

Entertainment

The shows were good and so were all the DJs etc
