Overall, the cruise was amazing ! It was my first time cruising and I would definitely do it again !! The only thing that needed to be improved really was the disembarkation. The Dining was amazing and I can’t express enough how amazing our waiters Jaime and Amit were!!! The entertainment was great too !!

Amazing !! The waiters were so attentive and worked as a team. We were sat on table 733 for the 2 weeks and the only problems we had were on formal nights where it was really busy and there were people that had booked the table at an earlier time before us that hadn’t been served their dessert yet, so we had to sit somewhere else or wait for the table but it wasn’t that much of a problem. The waiters were so polite and funny too ! I can’t fault them at all. They really looked after us too !!

The pools were great, as were the hot tubs. However the flow rider didn’t state that you needed to register before queuing up.

Grease was excellent!! Really really good and funny, however we were disappointed with the meet and greet with them as half of the cast weren’t there, but we could hear them backstage.

Our waiters in main dining were absolutely amazing in every way ! We had Jaime and Amit as our waiters and they were brilliant ! Jaime was very attentive, he always brought us our drinks without us having to ask, he was very polite and funny too !! Amit was also very funny and polite, he always asked how we were and what we had Been up to !!! Other waiters also were amazing !! We had waiters that showed us magic tricks and made us laugh !! They were all very easy to talk to and they all worked as a team which was lovely !!
Our room steward was lovely and chatty however felt she could’ve cleaned a little better. Other ship personnel were great !

The ships layout and design was beautiful !! Everything was easy to find, and also very clean !! I could always see the staff working hard to keep areas clean !

The cabin was really good in terms of size, the cabin was clean to an okay standard when it was cleaned, however we don’t think it was hoovered when it was cleaned. The cabin was very nice though !
Ship tip
Just enjoy it ! If you want to do specialty dining at Izumi, make sure to put your name on the list ASAP as it’s really hard to get into.
Embarkation was quick and easy ! However the Disembarkation was terrible ! They were trying to cram as many people as they could in the lifts to speed up the disembarkation and cut down the queues, however this meant splitting families up. Also the escalators stopped working which meant people had to carry their suitcases down on their own.
Absolutely amazing ! We did an excursion and went to see the monkeys, St Michael’s cave (I think that’s what it was called) and the village town. We had a private driver and she was amazing, we experienced the best ! We got to hold monkeys too which was an experience I’ll never forget !
Absolutely wonderful, we also had a private driver for this day. And he was amazing, he showed us the F1 Grand Prix circuit. He talked us through what the culture was like, and he knew what he was talking about. He managed to show us Nice,Monte-Carlo and Monaco in the time we had and showed us the best spots and we got to visit them ! It was definitely my favourite place !
We had a tour guide for this day ! And she was good but didn’t speak too much. The river boat cruise we did was amazing !! We got to see The leaning tower of Pisa too which was honestly amazing and a great experience !
It was amazing ! We had a private driver again for this trip and he took us to the best tourist spots ! He was very talkative and gave us a decent amount of time to explore the tourist spots!! He was also very funny too !
It was terrible ! It was my first time cruising, however I was with my friend and her family and they said that usually disembarkation was quick. However we were queuing for ages to get off the boat, we took our suitcases with us rather than leaving them outside our rooms for staff to take them. But we were told to queue outside the theatre, and we weren’t moving due to people losing their passports and another incident happening too. However there were people that needed to catch flights home and needed to be at the airport for a specific time and probably didn’t make it. The staff weren’t very good in terms of disembarkation.
