Try to learn ship neighborhoods before you get on.

Try to book a cabin in the middle of the ship. It is so big. I recommend deck 8 because we were in the middle and Central Park was nice and quiet.

If you look for more activities on board, choose Harmony of the Seas. But if you prefer confort in your cabin, choose Oasis or Allure (cabins are bigger)

DO NOT waste your money on a Jr suite. You get NO perks at all. Only get a few extra inches of room and balcony but not even a table to sit at.

Just have fun and make sure in the embarkation day you go up to deck 15 because they have a really cool party.

Reserve your excursions and shows early. If you have older teenage kids (16-18yrs), who want to do their own excursions without mom and dad, you’ll need to write a note to send to security.

I would go one deck down. The 14th floor in my room had alot of noise above. Sounded like carts going back an forth at all hours over humps in the floor.

The bath tubs were extremely narrow and curved (much like an egg) and very dangerous for those over 65 to stand.

Indulge in formal night. How often do you get to dress up? You have great food, everyone looks lovely- it is like the prom 😉 I would recommend the private studio session. It is pricey but well worth it for quality, unbelievable pictures of your group. The pictures come in color and black & white.
