Review summary

The ship was very impressive as was the Royal caribbean company. We liked everything we saw and were appreciative of the quality of the food, drinks and staff. This was our first cruise and we certainly good hooked. We will look at more cruises and do a quality comparison of some other cruise lines, however you all have set our standard.

Embarkation

Well organized, large staff available to provide assistance.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Best food and drinks we have had the pleasure to consume. Food available everywhere on ship

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
many activities were available, however we failed to adequately plan our events and missed several.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Due to poor planning on our part, we were only able to attend a couple. However those, including the musical Grease were excellent. Thought I was going to miss world cup final, however they had two large screens with a large stadium seating area to enjoy.

Ship tip

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
excellent location with easy access to ship

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Great place to visit, however still much visible damage from the storm. We took the double decker bus excursion, which was a nice way to go, but se saw very little. Went to the airport, a rum distiller, cheese store and ice cream company. Not interested in a ny of them, and would have liked to seen more of the island instead. It seems like it was a :filler: as we had 25 minutes at each of the locations.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
we did not take any excursions as we felt that those offered did not impress. We did walk around the old city and saw those sights and enjoyed that part of the trip with visits to the stores.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

2 out of 5
I had seen love pictures of this island which were impressive. However after getting there, we were disappointed. We are in late 60s and really there was little for us to do. Too hot to lay on the beach, and the sea excursions just did not feel good. I guess if we were younger or had kids, would have been great. need to target older generation since many of us do cruises. Scenery from the ship great.

Harmony sets the benchmark. I fear everything else will be a letdown
