The perfect ship for your first cruise. The staff is great and you will want to go again. I met people who had sailed that ship 20+ times. This ship has a reputation for outstanding service. You can’t go wrong on this ship.

It's difficult to find a quite place inside on a sea day. The centrum is a hub of dance classes and karaoke and loud activities and the three stories of chairs are usually full. Don't stay in a cabin near the centrum if you want any sleep.

I drink lots of water, so I brought on my own water bottles per limit so I would have it in my room and not have to walk somewhere to get some.

The Grandeur is an older ship but if you prefer smaller less chaotic ships...this is the ship for you! Many places to sit & meet new people or just sit and read and relax!

I would advice you to book a balcony room, and to become friends or know more about the staff members because we got to learn a lot about the people on the ship.

We bring a highlighter and every night when the next days ship's compass comes, we would highlight what we wanted to do for the next day. It helps you focus on your events planned more quickly. You do have to make priorities as there is much going on at the same time in different areas of the ship.

I would definitely try this size ship and see what you think. There were lots of positives to having almost everything within a few decks.

Royal Caribbean should except responsibility for the loss of my $750+ cell phone, I was required to entrust them with my baggage for xray and delivery to my cabin at the port of Colon. The phone was secured in my back pack when I entrusted it to them..

"My Time Dining" gives you only the option to choose between two different dining times. It does NOT give you the ability to make a reservation for what suites you best.

If you want a prime location for activities in the atrium get their early for a seat. All ports are very good, a day at the beach in Larbadee, San Juan, St Thomas and St Maarteen, touring, shopping and beaches. Fun, Fun, Fun! I been to each port several times, so I didn't do an excursion.

We and our friends had a wonderful time. We especially like the Lido deck and the casino. The casino staff became out friends.
