Not bad for first-time cruise experience. The food options were plentiful.

Relaxing Fun Bermuda Cruise by GrandpaK

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This is first small ship we have sailed, loved it, easy to get around, small size makes it easy to make new friends and you will see them around ship frequently. Entertainment is modest but lots of fun, Real Time Band was awesome, Royal Caribbean Orchestra is excellent and a real joy to have a real orchestra for the shows. had 15' seas one full day, you could feel the ocean and it was awesome. My favorite cruise so far.

Wonderfully, relaxing cruise!!! by dorisover

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Mai & Anom were great at our dinner table each evening -- very attentive, friendly, jovial, remembered names, and favorite drinks. Couldn't ask for better service. Sonia, Excursion Guide, was wonderful, too. She rescheduled a Behind the Scenes Ship Tour for us when our original tour was cancelled due to weather. Great personality. All of the waiters, stateroom attendants, all the crew were exceptionally professional, friendly, and extremely courteous. The entire crew made our cruise an outstanding memory. Positive representation of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

New England by bcords

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Although we didnt get into Boston and St John because of Hurricane Michael, we still enjoyed the other three stops. We have already talked about driving to New England to spend more time because of the multitude of beautiful places.

Exciting by kathyschae

Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Ship is small but very manageable. Weather made us miss two stops but since there is so much to do on the ship it wasn’t a problem.

Fun getaway! by MWKlein

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

We cruise on the Grandeur quite a bit, she is our Fav ship in the RCCL so far. We have been on some of the bigger ships but we find them to be too big for our tastes. Captain Thor runs a fantastic ship. His staff is friendly and very attentive. The musicians onboard are fantastic. But one of the highlights for us on the Grandeur is the 2 events they have for Veterans and first responders. Bob, the cruise director, hosts and really makes the events special. The Grandeur is the ONLY RCCL ship we have been on that does this!

Needs improvement by lsm

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

They need to get rid of the art auction. Amazed on how many people take up their offer of "free" posters for only $35 handling and mailing fees. No thank you to our offer for our anniversary. Needs better menu items. Formal night needs to be done away with. No shorts rule ignored. If you have standards, uphold them. Bermuda is paradise. Ride the buses there. Better than any paid tour. Can't wait to return.

A Hectic Experience by pecanglo

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Unfortunately, I got off to a very poor start by almost missing the boat! Coupled with the stress of having to rush and drive to the Port of Baltimore rather than be on the scheduled Greyhound that never left the station, I am surprised I didn't have a heart attack. My staff on board was excellent and the food was outstanding so I was able to enjoy the cruise on some level. I did get motion sickness from being on that small ship. The beach in Bermuda was one of the nicest ones that I have ever been on and also the cleanest! I'd like to go to Bermuda at a different time and definitely on a different ship.

New England fall by ronlattin

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

I would not take this ship again I will check on other cruises and other tours groups before I book. the ship is very old and the most of stat room bathrooms all smell and some parts of the ship has a bad odor. I was disappointed with the cruise I have been on several other cruise and all have been great but this ship and the food were below average the $15 per day tips per person you are charged was more then the service we received, then everyone expected more on all drinks and other items. extra charge for coffee, water or ice in our room we had the beverage package $14 a day but had go to the bars to get drinks.

Bermuda from Baltimore by riggsp17337774

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Being on board a cruise ship for 102 of the 114 hours from departure to return is simply not my cup of tea, and on top of that, my critique would be to say that EVERYTHING on the ship was mediocre at best--food, entertainment, activities, etc. The room was more than satisfactory, and the crew and staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful; but that is to be expected. I would hope that I never find myself on another cruise with similar itinerary, but can only blame myself for not investigating better before blindly saying yes to a cruise planned by a family member.

Disappointing Cruise to Bermuda by Melissa342

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

I was very disappointed in how some of the staff treating me and my husband. I was very disappointed in the casino, that they would charge 5% to obtain a ticket when its their own policy to be a cash free cruise. My husband was in a power w/c and was denied access the the w/c designated elevator while trying to exit the cruise on the last day.

Great Trip by pkthuey

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Trip was exactly what we expected at this price point. Staff were usually accommodating and friendly. Food at buffet was OK but really good choices in adult cafe or main dining. Smaller ship means less crowds which we really liked.

Unexpected extended vacatio by jamespatrickmen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

We ended up not going to Kings Warf, Bermuda because of hurricane florence. We went to Nassau, Bahamas. Then we had to stay in Port Canaveral, Fl until the hurricane passed. The 5 day cruise turned into a 9 day. The staff was super friendly and very accomadating. The shore excursion choices werent that great and pretty expensive for what they were.

Hurricane Florence trip! by ronnik1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Grandeur of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This ended up being a great cruise. We had an itinerary change due to Hurricane Florence, but were notified in advance in case we wanted to decline the trip. The cruise line offered amazing compensation for the inconvenience. It was small enough of a ship that my mom could get around with a walker. The food was top notch in the dining room, as was the nightly show. Our waiters in the dining room were great. really, the staff was friendly, energetic, and positive. Best cruise I've been on yet.

Cruise was supposed to go to Bermuda. Was re-routed to Bahamas and half price, and then extended due to weather. All were extremely accommodating on our adventure. Couldn't have asked for better.

My husband & I took this cruise to go to Bermuda for his 60th birthday. When the destination was changed we were reluctant to go but did because we weren't able to get a refund so we could do something else.
