Amazing cruise by bealeyjennifer

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

We really enjoyed our cruise on Freedom of the Seas.

The variety of ports gave us an opportunity to visit places in Europe we had never been.

The cruise staff was wonderful and very helpful.

The entertainment and dining were exceptional.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and appreciated the attention in Chops Grille to help us celebrate

Not my favorite cruise! :( by noreenann

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Transatlantic

This cruise was both good and bad. Good because I traveled w family and friends. Bad because the weather was cold and cloudy - not Royal Caribbean's fault! The staff was extremely friendly & courteous. My room steward and dining staff were extraordinary!! I am a Canadian Club drinker and had to search for bars to accommodate me. Now that I am diamond, I hope to see CC in the diamond lounge! The embarking & disembarking processes were absolutely horrific! RC needs a lot of organization help and I mean LOTS! There was never enough seating in the Bolores nor the Star lounges. Surely, RC can find other accomadations for these popular spots. Our chef was great at cooking meat, but horrible at cooking fish! Yuk! Entertainment was fair at best w the exception of the ice show. It was magnificent!!! Some singers were sooo loud my eardrums were vibrating! Pianoist and violinist were superb! I love trivia, but it always conflicted w my other activities, like dinner! My first and last transatlantic cruise!

Hungry? Freedom of the Seas is the answer by ghapril12

The lines getting onto the ship were long and not well organized especially for Diamond members, but the food on this ship was the Best ever! The Entertainment was spectacular.  I would give this cruise a 90!

Como siempre un crucero excelente. by opachanoa

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Transatlantic

First time cruising by marjohn95

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Overall, the experience was good. The ship itself needs major renovations. First arrived to a not so tidy room. I don't blame the cleaning lady as the ship gets patrons on and off like cattle. The most annoying part is the nickel and dining Royal  Carribean feels they have to do..automatic gratuities on everything..even ordering juice..wow..anyway, the ports were amazing. My favorite being Puerto Rico. Just wish we had more time to explore. Less cruising days and more port days would have made it awesome..Getting off the ship the last day took 3 hours. NO ORGANIZATION!!!  I'd probably cruise again on a different line and for less amount of days..

Cruising with Royal Caribbean by nancyapple

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

My husband and I had a great time aboard Freedom of the Seas. Entertainment was top notch. Even at the pool we were entertained. Everyone in services that we were in contact in the buffet was personable and always very attentive of our needs. The ports we stopped at were very enjoyable. We would definitely  Royal Caribbean to our friends and look forward to sailing again with Royal Caribbean.

Another excellent Royal cruise by tomrabicki

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We enjoyed all facets of the cruise, i.e. food, service and shows.  Now awaiting $200 credit for a reposition cruise that we cancelled on 4/19/17.  This is our 3rd Royal cruise, and it wont be our last.

Best cruise ever by Cruiser14876397

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The cleanliness of the Freedom of The Seas, all the things to do and the helpful and the friendly staff make this a cruise everyone should take. We have been on a lot of cruises and this is one of the best we have been on. We had such a good time we booked another one before we left the ship. If you are thinking of going on another cruise book it when  you are on board. The small deposit, on board credits and savings are worth it.

What do you do when you travel with children, grandchildren and seniors?  You take a cruise on Freedom of the Seas. Something to do every minute of every day for every one of us. Flow riders, movies, Harry Potter Trivia, dance parties...the list goes on and on. So much to do together and so much to do individually. Our dinners were amazing, service impeccable and the ship was just beautiful. Truly best vacation ever.

One of the best things about the cruise is not being tied to the internet, email, phone and just focusing on relaxing and enjoying all the activities.

April 2017 Cruise by kaspm13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Freedom of the Seas is a great ship!  Did not feel crowded at any time.  Beautiful Promenade Deck, the dining rooms are pretty, shows were good, lots of bars and places to pick up a snack.  The reason I gave this cruise 4 stars is because of the stop in St Kitts.  The port is full of shops but the town is not inviting.  We turned around about 2 blocks into the town, not real comfortable with the surroundings.

dropped the ball not Royal Caribbean by mgarner

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship was great, the ship service was great.  However we were given wrong information by that cost us 130 dollars.  We were told chef's table would be comped but our voucher indicated otherwise.  I reached out to our rep (three times) that gave us the information and never received a phone call, email, or anything with less than 2 days left before our cruise.  Also, Royal Caribbean initiated a 7.95 surcharge for all room service before our trip and although might not have known about this implementation they have had time now to find out about the surcharge change.  The ship detail information on all royal Caribbean ships needs to be updated.  Long story short, double check all information given to you by , which is annoying in itself so perhaps you should just deal with the cruise line directly and avoid the "convenience" of . ( I must have called  about at least 6 times for different reasons, many of those times getting different answers from some individuals who had no idea of what their policies were and gave me wrong answers.  Meanwhile I sensed that each of these people had no clue so I would call back again and get some one who finally would be able to help with the correct answers)

My last BIG ship by feebe

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was our sixth cruise.  Our first BIG ship- and our last.  I hated the crowds!!  I was almost knocked down twice during a "Dancing in the Street" event by two men who didn't even apologize!  The only nice things I can say was that the staff was great and so was the food.  Recommend to a friend?  No.  I will go on their smaller ships but that's it for the big ones!

Very good cruise if you are willing to pay for specialty dinners by chevrier1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The regular dining room was ordinary and the servers did not know much about wine. But the specialty dining was excellent especially the Chef's table was worth the money and the enjoyment . The cabins need refreshment furniture wise. if you are platinum guest and up the embarkation goes very smooth.

Another great cruise by deborahmyers123

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Freedom of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Freedom of the Seas is the perfect size ship. It is easy to find your way around. They were undergoing some construction that was not expected. I am not understand why this isn't completed at dry dock. We were not very happy with the Port.  Embarking was uneventful but disembarking was painful. Escalators did not work and everyone was forced to use stairs and a single elevator.
