Review summary

Freedom of the Seas is the perfect size ship. It is easy to find your way around. They were undergoing some construction that was not expected. I am not understand why this isn't completed at dry dock. We were not very happy with the Port.  Embarking was uneventful but disembarking was painful. Escalators did not work and everyone was forced to use stairs and a single elevator.

Ships are are dry docked about every 5 years, things are going to happen during that time that need to be fixed.

Thanks for the review - she was built back in 2006 - and renovated in 2015. Sorry to learn about the mechanical issues. I personally don't mind the stairs but my better half is less mobile.

just got off on Sunday the 26th, port was perfect, getting off was painless, you should have seen the elevator at the Marriott, you really would have cried,
