Review summary
What do you do when you travel with children, grandchildren and seniors? You take a cruise on Freedom of the Seas. Something to do every minute of every day for every one of us. Flow riders, movies, Harry Potter Trivia, dance parties...the list goes on and on. So much to do together and so much to do individually. Our dinners were amazing, service impeccable and the ship was just beautiful. Truly best vacation ever.

Ship tip
Our one tip if you are arranging excursions on your own is to check local versus ship time. Our only major problem came when we discovered we booked an excursion and almost missed it because of the discrepancy. Not sure why, but ship maintains SHIP time even during time changes.

Happy that you had a wonderful vacation and that the time change did not cause you a problem. By now you may have already figured out that ships typically don't change to local time. That also tells me that you probably used your smartphone and allowed it to change time because you never would have heard a time change from the ship:-) When embarking we remove the automatic time adjustment from our smartphones and that way we avoid Accidental time change whetherher on the ship's Wi-Fi or onshore cellular network.
