Would never go on this ship again and will probably never go on Royal Caribbean again. Overall, the staff on Norwegian and Carnival much more pleasant. Lines for everything and no cold beer anywhere. Big letdown. Ports however were overall great except Antigua ( don't leave the ship if you go).

Day 6 we were wishing for a few more days and destinations.

Fun, family friendly cruise. Visited 5 ports with 1 sea day. Ship was very clean and the wait staff and attendants were very friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed this cruise. Did a B2B. Shows I saw were great. There was the usual things people complain about that I didn't let bother me( chair hogs,seat savers, people who left trash everywhere). I loved cruising from Puerto Rico.

Overall great cruise, weather outstanding, arrived the day of cruise with no problems, food mediocre at best but went for the itinerary not to eat. Cabin clean and spacious with plenty of room for storage. All excursions done through RCCL and did not disappoint. Sure you can save money by purchasing locally but I’m on vacation and rather be safe than sorry just to save a couple of bucks . Used the self assist disembarkment for the first time do to flight leaving at 10:30 and was such a breeze I will definitely do it again. Was at the airport by 8:00!

It was the best in every way! I would recommend this cruise, ship and ports as one of the best!

This was our second time on the ship and very disappointed. Activities were limited. Ship was boring with not a lot to do. Steward was average at best. Cruise director was not great. Food was not as good as last time. Disappointed we had to pay for room service except for breakfast. The few times we order breakfast it didnt show up or order was wrong. Stops were awesome. Crew in windjammer were great. That's was about it. Same boring food everyday. Not a big selection. Will not sail out of Puerto Rico again.

We just got off the ship yesterday! (I’m still swaying!) We sure had a great time! We had a balcony room (7250) and the rooms are definitely ready for an overhaul but they were clean and comfortable. I thought the food in the MDR was probably the best we’ve had as far as cruise food goes. Windjammer was busy and ok for buffet food. We always found a seat and I’m not that fussy to let crowds or the food upset me. (Just eat it and shut up! 🤣). Sorentos was good for a quick bite and Cafe Promenade was good. The staff was super friendly as at the pool you never had to get up and get a drink! The waiters and bartenders were amazing! Such hard workers! Try the frozen mojitos! Trust me! We booked all excursions through RC...better for us to be safe than sorry! Aruba we did DePalm island and had a blast...great snorkeling! Curaçao we just got off the boat and went to town...wish we would have gone to a beach though. Bonaire we did the southern tour and went to the resort Delfins beach resort! It was gorgeous and the tour was fabulous but it was an open air bus so it was hard to hear...we had a gormet lunch which was good but fancy. St Marten we did the Maho Beach airport experience. That place is a cluster but we rented chairs and ended up having a good time! The beach was crowded that water was nice and we got to see some planes land! It was an awesome experience and it was on my 16 yr old sons bucket list! He wants to be a pilot! We shopped really quickly at the pier and it was nice shopping, We disembarked like a breeze...getting a porter is the key! He got us a cab,..we had 7 people but we cruised with friends so when we ate dinner on the ship there were 11 of us! Our dinner was at 6 and Dwi and July were fabulous never had to wait! And July kept bringing me frozen mojitos so I was happy!! I can’t say enough about the staff! Richard our room attendant was wonderful and sweet! Overall it was a great time and don’t sweat the small stuff! I forgot to mention PR! We flew in the day before and stayed at the Doubletree which we booked through the ship...it was nice and everyone was friendly! Went to the El Marro(sp?) fort which was amazing! Old San Juan was a cluster...lots of traffic but it was a must see! We at at Barrachina which was good and had a Pina Colada...or 2... Got our transfer to the ship at the hotel...left around 12:30...no time at all we were on the ship! It really was a great cruise and the itinerary was awesome!

Just got off the ship yesterday. Had a great time! Our room was great- had a balcony on floor 9. Our stateroom attendant, Lucy was amazing. We loved her. Fabulous meals in the MDR, Windjammer was ok. Great itinerary: Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, St Maarten out of San Juan.

The Freedom of the Seas is an old, but beautiful ship. There's always room for improvement. Looking forward to our next vacation.

Alot happened during this cruise. To much to mention. Ship definitly needs updating and a better layout. My overall rating for this ship shows as a 3.6 but is only this high because of the islands.

Overall a great cruise. The weather was cooperative and the passengers were great. No complaints of loud crazy; drunken stupors. Just a bunch of people having fun enjoying themselves. The ports were great; and most of all the food was great!

This was a great cruise, 1st time we have been on a Royal ship with the promenade which is a bit crazy at times. Only 1 new island but have already rebooked for April of 2020 the ABCs are great. I would suggest not to leave jewelry with Milano as a piece we had bought ended up on a carnival ship. Food was overall pretty good, serimvice was good, only one show with the Royal Dancers. They need to rethink some of the venues for activities. Park west staff was great make sure you work with Thiago he is amazing! All in all one of the best itineraries we have done.

Mediocre at best, unfortunately most of the passengers were unaware that they were not alone on the ship. Staff was barely above par. Maybe we have just come to expect more from RCCL.

There were six of us travelling together and there was plenty of variety to keep everyone busy and entertained.

We did freedom of the seas at the end of April. We had a grand suite and loved it! The concierge club was great, the suite was great, the dining room staff, cabin steward, shows, we enjoyed everything. We enjoyed pool access for only suite guests and the reserved seating at the shows. Priority disembarkation was wonderful. The only thing I can say is I wish rccl would have planned better by not having 2 out of 4 ports closed.

Though the dynamics of this holiday were a little different having our mom in tow, we did enjoy the cruise a great deal. I think we need to go just the 2 of us to experience more.
