Incredibly friendly staff. Our cabin Steward was a gem!

Very clean, but a bit outdated.
Cabin / Stateroom
The cabin was fine, but I won't book through United again. I want to be able to choose my cabin.

Do NOT let Holland America check your bags for you. They lost both of ours.

Ports of call
I liked Juneau, but we did not get enough time here. Do NOT go to Orca Point Lodge. Just go whale watching. The food and service were a disaster. It was a complete waste of time.
Glacier Bay was gorgeous, but we spent WAY too much time here. Could not leave the ship so it got tedious.
Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska
Way too little time here. We got up at the crack of dawn to do our one excursion then had to rush back to the ship for a 1 p.m. departure. I would have liked a few hours to walk around the town.
We arrived after dark and had only a short time here. It seems like it would be a beautiful town to visit during the day when you could see things.
Disembarkation
Holland America offered to tag our bags and deliver them to our airline in Seattle. We left the ship at 8 a.m. Our flight left at 1:40 p.m. Bags were not on our flightnd deliver them to our airline in Seattle
