Review summary

This was worst cruise we have ever been on. The ports of call were flooded with 1,000s of people getting off cruise ships. Almost impossible to walk around there were so many people. The food on the ship was terrible. The entertainment was nothing special. Staff at buffet lines were terrible, didn't clean off table quickly, endless waiting for a table. Food was similar to a bad buffet. No water filtration station.

Food was terrible. It was similar to eating at a bad buffet. Bread products were tasteless, desserts were unappealing. Long lines at the buffet and difficult to find a table to eat on. Slow to clean tables off. Endless waiting. We never ate at dining room so can't comment.

Onboard Activities

Not much to do. Ship didn't offer many activities. Older ship with nothing special. Too cold for the pool. Fitness center was good.

Shows were repetitive same group singing old songs.

Beyond our room service the staff was just okay. Our room steward was great.

Ship seemed to be clean and taken care of. We did both get sick with some type of virus from the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a room with obstructed view. It was obstructed! Could only see a little, machinery of some type outside the window. Occasionally there was actually a person out there doing Maintenace. Unsettling to look and see somebody outside your window!

Ship tip

Bring a water botle to fill. There is no water sold, you are to use the buffet line glasses to fill your bottle. Very stupid, they need a water filtration station.ttles. You can use the water directly from the machine and have t

Yes, you can buy water on the ship and all water is portable in your cabin.

There are definitely so many more people in those ports than when we did our first Alaskan cruise in 2015 when we saw a total of 3 ships in all the ports combined!
