Need better signage directing passengers through the embarkation process. We thankfully figured out how to get to the shorter and faster line for the Eurodam, instead of the much longer (30+ min) for the twice as large (in terms of total passengers) Princess ship embarking at the sane time.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Great food, great selection in the main dinning room, Lido deck, and other venues.
Crow's Nest

Good views of the scenery, if you can find an open seat. Very noisy, not the place to relax while looking at the scenery.
Pinnacle Grill

Food was good and the service was great, but not better than provided in the main dinning room. It is a very overhyped venue.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
There were many onboard activities, including many places to drink oneself into oblivion, spa treatments, acupuncture treatments, multiple others, and of course overpriced shopping. Would you really want to shop somewhere that doubles the actual retail value, or more, just so they can offer you a 45% discount to try and convince you that you area getting a good deal? My wife found some earnings she liked but we could not justify the $3,200 price, or the $1,711 “steal” we were offered. We found the same earrings on shore listed for $757 and purchased them for $411. The ship hypes shopping for jewelry on board as “the” best onboard activity. Caveat Emptor!
Entertainment

World Stage
2 out of 5
The dance and music shows presented fell well below our expectations. There others for which we had no interest. The presentations on the last day about what we going to see during the shore excursions, and another on the inner workings of the ship, were very good and informative, but would have been much better delivered on the first day of the cruise, while at sea on the way to Juneau.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Best part of the Eurodam experience was the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, from the cabin, to dinning venues, to maintenance, to all other venues. They also did a marvelous job of keeping all parts if the ship accessible to passengers very clean, in spite of the trash created daily by over 2,200 passengers.

Cabin / Stateroom

Only downside to offer us that the rubber seal on the door to our balcony went bad, thankfully on the last day, so it had to sealed with masking tape to dampen the wind noise while the ship was underway, just so we could sleep.
Air tour of five glaciers and “salmon feast” at the Taku Lodge was overhyped, overpriced for what it provided, and generally disappointing. Save your money and go on a different excursion. The sightseeing flight over the glaciers was a very short 20 minutes, and the views were unimpressive. The baked salmon meal at the Taku lodge was good, but no better than on the ship.
The excursion provides time before and after the meal to sit or walk around and enjoy the great scenery, including the Pocket Glacier in the distance. All were ruined by the swarms of “storm trooper” mosquitoes, for which we got no warning.
The Lumberjack show was just a crowded venue to promote the tools used by the lumberjacks.
The 7-segment zip-line though the Tonga Forest tree canopies was great. The staff is friendly, safety minded, and fun loving. The 7 segments build from short and slow to fast and long, with estimated top speed reached of 37 mph on the long run. Highly recommended!
Too short a time on land and lacking good excursions. The O’Canada Lights by night bus tour was a waste of money, but equivalent to other available excursions.
