Review summary

It was a good cruise but you had to wear masks except when eating. We took 3 shore excursions and they were very good.

Initially it was excellent and everything went smoothly than we were put in a holding area for about an hour.

Food and Dining

They were good. Because of COVID, we could not serve ourselves and they had to do all the serving. Selection was good and varied.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
There were many activies but most cost extra and very few activities interested our group. They no longer have the Digital Workshop or craft classes.

Entertainment

They were not impressive. Much better when they had the song and dance group. I felt the entertainment was very poor quality.

Children's Programs

We have no children and I don't think Holland American ships have a children's program.

They were constantly cleaning these areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was comfortable and average size. The steward brought out two extra chairs for our grown children to sit with us on the balcony. The room was kept very clean.

Ship tip

It's not a party ship as mostly "old" people on it but you are able to relax and take it easy.
