In summary, the highlight of the trip is Glacier Bay and seeing small Alaskan towns. The biggest problem is extreme crowds and long lines. Since there are many cruises doing the same itinerary I think the smart choice is going with best-priced ship.

Cocktail mixology was good. Talks and seminars about Alaska were also nice and informative.
Entertainment

I mostly listened to B.B. Kings Blues Band. When actually performing Blues they were excellent. Unfortunately as the evening progressed the band would slip into Soul/Motown hits and corny Disco songs! There also was a nice Lincoln Center String Quartet performing classical pieces.

Room service and room dining really get 5 stars. Restaurant service was almost 5 stars, but didn't quite make it. In one instance, at the Pinnacle Grill Restaurant, I asked for more bread that never came. The biggest blunder happened one breakfast when I ordered an omelette and was given someone else's plate! To make things worst, that other omelette had avocados, which I'm allergic to. Fortunately for the cruise I realized the mistake before consuming avocados. I have to say that it never happened to me before and should never happen with such high-profile cruise company!
Ship Quality

Eurodam, despite recent "upgrading," is showing it's age. It doesn't seem to have the "posh" of other ships I've been on. It is also poorly designed for Alaska sightseeing. Quite a bit of open decks are shielded by glass, making picture taking difficult. Going from front to aft and vice versa is a challenge. I also found ship to feel extremely overcrowded. Finding empty table for breakfast and lunch was next to impossible; buffet queues were maddening!! It just felt like no matter where I went there were too many people.

Bed was actually quite comfy. There was plenty of hangers and places for personal belongings. But the overall decor was a bit rundown. Also, air conditioner was not very efficient and room felt very warm at night.
Nice little town. Ship was docked right in the middle of town. Town itself is mostly shops and restaurants, but taking a tramway up to Roberts Point is, in my opinion, a must. You'll be treated to spectacular Alaska view. The store there has one of the best Alaska craft gallery: prices are up there, but quality is top-notch. I also did an excursion to see Alaska Huskies Summer Camp: very nice relaxing outing where you can see wonderful dogs and puppies, and learn about Alaska sleigh racing.
Here we also docked in the middle of town. Unfortunately the ship departed around 12:30pm, so after my snorkel excursion there was no time left to explore the town.
