Review summary

We loved the ship and the balcony cabin was great! The bathroom is oversized for a ship. There was plenty to do and the entertainment was as good as any other cruise ship. The only complaint I had was with the dining room. On the day that we were at sea until we pulled in to Victoria at 6 PM, they closed the dining room for lunch and everyone on the ship was crowded into the buffet to eat lunch. No trays, so had to pick up a few things at a time and find a table to set them down......which was almost impossible because of the number of people that had to had to eat there because the dining room was closed. At dinner, we were relegated to the lower dining room that was quite noisy because they messed up our reservation. The food was average.

Very fast, no waiting, just walked into the terminal and in minutes were on the ship!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The Pinnacle Grill was supurb......both the food and staff were definitely worth the extra charge! The dining room was average, the buffet had more than enough food....if you could get to it! The Tamarind is over priced and the service is slow. We waited over 45 minutes to be waited on after we sat down.

Onboard Activities

There is something to keep you occupied all day long if you choose to do it.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved B.B. King and Dueling Pianos, the main stage acts were very entertaining.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was very friendly, and were there to fulfill your needs. If you asked for anything you got it .....now! If you left the room for 15 minutes it would be clean when you got back!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Loved the ship, because it is smaller than most and easy to get around.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Make sure your dining reservation is correct. Ours was changed from early to late by the ship and we ended up having to sit in anytime dining because there was no room in the other dining room

Spent 3 days there, but one day would have been enough. But don’t miss Chinooks at Salmon Bay! The atmosphere is very casual but the food was delicious. Their clam chowder was the best I’ve ever had!

The Glaciers were outstanding! We sat on our balcony as we moved through them. The Butchart Gardens were also beautiful and definitely a must see.
