Review summary

Great experience beginning to end. The ship was wonderful and the crew and staff could not have been for helpful. The food was excellent in all restaurants, just wish I had limited my intake. Our excursions we all OUTSTANDING.....We enjoyed each experience and really appreciate the quality and expertise that each guide possessed and shared. What a beautiful state Alaska is and really admire the care each resident takes to keep their home beautiful......

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate primarily in the main dining room and the Lido dining room. The food variety and quality were very good, especially enjoyed breakfast. Additionally, we had one evening in the Pinnacle Grille which was outstanding and one lunch at the Dive In for burgers which was great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I used the fitness center twice and we went to the casino on three occasions. We also saw the show following the Captains Toast which turned into a very enjoyable evening. Days at sea (2) were a bit boring.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Especially enjoyed the show following Captains Toast and the two playing piano and singing across from the casino.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Outstanding service throughout the Eurodam, especially our room attendants Nyomen and Wayan.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Beautiful ship, excellent layout and amenities, spotless.....

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We "paid up" to get a large stateroom and absolutely enjoyed the extra space both inside and on our verandah. The room was extremely comfortable, very clean and had every amenity we could need on our cruise.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
Excellent port facility.....enjoyed dining in a local restaurant and walking through town before departing on our cruise.

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
We had a great hiking experience to the Mendenhall Glacier with Kristin from Gastineau Guiding. This was an outstanding learning experience thanks to the knowledge, insight and humor of our guide. This excursion proved to be a good and much needed workout.... Had a great draft beer in the old hotel / bar in town after the hike.

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
In Sitka we took an ocean raft (Zodiak Boat) with a guide to explore a volcanic island and abundant sea life. Great experience especially since we saw many Humpback Whales and got within twenty feet of one pod. Also otters, sea birds, fish and a really fun boat ride..... Had a great time walking around town after our excursion and learned about the history and importance of Sitka from the acquisition from Russia and becoming the 49th state.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Outstanding sea kayaking tour around Tatoosh Islands with Southeast Exposures. Two very skilled guides took our group around the islands and provided a great experience from both kayaking and local insight into fishing, wildlife and history.....

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
We walked throughout Victoria and enjoyed the beauty of the city and the people. We had a great meal and beer at the Irish Pub on Government Street......

Disembarkation
