Overall, a very pleasant, delightful and refreshing cruise experience. The service personnel are courteous, friendly and helpful; the entertainment are top quality and superbly performed. The ship's layout is that places are conveniently accessable.
Embarkation

Smooth and no delay; but they chose the photo that shows my eyes closed to be my cruise photo (with date, logo & scenery).
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Not that everything is perfect, but I can find what I like with a high degree of satisfaction because there are wide varieties of food, and they are available almost the whole day.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I enjoyed walking and sightseeing on the deck, and there are three different levels, and the views are spectacular during the Glacier Bay cruise; other facilities look impressive too, but I have not used them.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Entertainment is superb: Main Stage shows include live music, singing, dancing, and magic performances; the Lincoln Center Stage features a string quartet and a pianist that plays a wide variety of music; the BB King group plays rock, pop, and soul music; the Billboard Bar and the Ocean bar also feature very good singers and live music. All performances are of top quality, and I enjoyed them very much.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service staff are very courteous, customer friendly and helpful; they always greet you with a smile.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Ship design and decoration may be slightly dated, but I like them anyway; everything is very convenient; but need location directions near elevators, so people would know exactly which direction to walk after they get off the elevators. Common areas are very clean and well-maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Overall it is comfortable and clean. I wished to have a full size double bed, but they gave me two twin beds. That's ok as they have indicated this may happen.
Ship tip
There is an automatic service charge for each customer every day, so don't be surprised when you get the billing (for me and my wife, it's $27 total each day).
Good looking city; larger, and there are more shopping places than Sitka and Ketchikan; September is end of tour season, so lots of things are on sale, and some are pretty good deals. I did an excursion, mainly walking a trail leading to the Mendenhall Glacier and Lake, Nugget Fall, and the Visitor Center. Saw one bald eagle. Weather was a little wet, but very pleasant experience on the whole.
Small town (14 miles of paved road total), but clean and refreshing. Nice visitor center in downtown; pleasant waterfront park and library. I did an excursion: saw serveral whales at a distance; walked a short trail through a forest, then viewed samon run in a river over a bridge; visited a totum pole museum and a private bear sanctuary. Some confusion to me as to where I should meet my tour guide as the instructions on the e-ticket are not clear. Very pleasant trip overall.
Good looking town; nice shops and streets. I did an excursion. Visited totum poles village; stopped by a spot on the seashore; viewed a waterfall; saw one bald eagle guarding her nest; observed samon run up rapid flowing rivers. Good tour overall.
I have visited this port serveral times before and I know it's beautiful. This time I just walked around places near the cruise ship docks. I did not do an excursion.
