Very nice cruise experience by DwightS

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Overall this was a very enjoyable cruise. Pro's: Excellent service in rooms and dining. Not too loud and easy to find quiet places if that's what you want Con's: Buffet seating was tight during peak times. The ship is a bit smaller than others we have cruised on and did not have a sports deck (basketball, volleyball).

Not up to expectations by CraigB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This was our second cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas, the first one being about 7 years ago. Since that time the ship has been extended to accomodate about 150 more staterooms. While the ship itself can handle the extra 300 people, it is obvious that this puts a stress on an excellent food service staff. The food service infrastructure appears to not have been expanded to accomodate the extra passengers. The resultant noise level in the dining facilities was difficult to deal with and the jockeying for tables in the Windjammer buffet area became an exercise in both patience and \"landsharking\". This is unfortunate, as our experience on the first cruise on this ship was above and beyond our expectations. As a result, I can only give the overall experience an \"average\" grade.

Bermuda is beautiful by BonnieG38255168

Compared to other cruises I have been on, this ship was a little outdated (decor), a little \"worn\", food choices and entertainment were ok, but not great.

Amazing cruise vacation! by Veronic98609126

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

Great ship with lots of nice areas to relax or enjoy entertainment all day and night. Windjammer a little small. Rooms with windows were delightful without costing a ton. Bed quite comfortable. Food decent. Plenty of deck chairs to relax and read/nap.

Incredible Cruise by AnneT73315989

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This was my second time on a cruise and my first with Royal Carribean. The trip was outstanding from the stateroom to the dining room. The food was superb at dinner and the Windjammer offered many selections. I attended all the shows and found each one fantastic! I enjoyed Bermuda and sidetrips to the Bermuda Triangle for snorkeling and swimming in Horshoe Bay. I also enjoyed the nighttime Glass Bottom Boat Ride. Because I like to dance and was not there with a a husband or boyfriend, I did not participate as much as I would have liked. How about having some of the male staff be on hand for those who do not have a date?

A Fabulous Cruise Vacation by LeeH61367885

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

The ship was beautiful! The centrum (middle area of the ship) was gorgeous - all marble and glass, and all of the lounge and dining areas were clean and spacious. The deck areas were nice and there were plenty of lounge chairs and seating for all. The food was good, the drinks were tasty and all of the wait staff were friendly. Most of the shows and comedians were good and several movies were shown on board. The Quest activity was wild and so funny, and the last night Disco Party was super fun! Overall, we had beautiful weather and it was a great experience.

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

We recently went on our first cruise and it was awesome. WOW! The staff I may say were really nice, everyone had a smile on their faces each and every day. They were so willing to help with whatever you may need. There were so many activities to do. We really enoyed our first cruise and we can't wait to go again.

cramped and pilfered at sea by StephenP3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

We recently sailed on the Enchantment of the Seas for the first time. My wife and I assumed the state rooms would be small considering space would be limited on the boat so when we booked our reservation we were convinced by the booking agent to upgrade our room to the Large (K) stateroom ($600 upgrade). When we got to our room and opened the door we were shocked at how small the room was. All I could think was how am I going to fit my wife and 2 sons in this tiny little 145 sq ft room?! We could hardly move around without bumping into each other. I complained to guest service but was told all rooms were booked on the boat so there was no way to upgrade to a larger room. I was told that all the food was free on a cruise, but soon found that was not true. You have to pay for all your drinks, coke, even water and when we went to eat at Chops grill we found it cost $30 plate! When dined at the Fair lady we found the food selection was very very limited (about 4 or 5 different meal choices). When the food was served we found it was not very good. I had the prime rib which was thin and tasteless. We then ate at the WindJammer which was the only bright spot of the cruise, the food at the WindJamer was very good and there was a lot of variety. I had heard that on a cruise there is allways so much to do... but what I found was that when I attempted to take my family to enjoy some of the entertainment on the boat, (ie magic show, comedian, movie) I found all the seats were taken and there was only one theater on the boat... so we had to stand behind crowds of people who also could not find a seat. The worst part was how often we were approached to purchase some drink or some product on the Boat. We felt \"nickled and dimed\" to death. The wait staff came from many places around the globe which is neat, but their English was so bad it was difficult to understand what they were talking about. The cruise itinerary stated that we would be two days at sea an

Nice cruise by EllenB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

the ship was nice. very clean. I did not get the wow feeling at all. the daytime and evening activities were not what I expected. I like more entertainment and not all the dance classes and dance demo's. This was not my type of entertainment. The arcade for the children was very high priced. As for the games they could have offered more. The staff was wonderful and very helpful.

Enchantment Excels in Every Way! by Tjm99460115

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This cruise was chocked full of family fun. Many activities for the family to enjoy together, as well as time on our own with the kids enjoying the fantastic Adventure Ocean kids' program, run by degreed staff. The executive chef and his staff are fantastic, and I would rank the food above other cruise lines we've sailed. We could have used a few more hours in Boston, but other than that and the small size of the cabin (but you are really not in it that much as a family anyway) are the only cons of this cruise. Well done, Enchantment staff! You are all phenomenal and the cruise director and his staff provide awesome entertainment (on our cruise we had a third place winner from America's Got Talent, Scott Alexander).

Spectacular Cruse by KathyB79835052

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

The ship was beautiful, however there were a few things that showed wear and tear. The Solarium roof leaked and felt like it was raining inside during a heavy rain. The Orpheum was very comfortable and the stage was very nice. The rooms were nice.

great cruise! by CaroleB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

this is a smaller ship in the RC line, but there is a definite advantage to the smaller ships. Staff was great, food was great - there was a good selection at all times - and there was plenty to do.

I loved it! by Marjori71453461

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This ship is top notch. The Captain, crew, and staff were very service oriented. The beds & cabins were clean and inviting. The buffets and formal dining rooms offered excellent, tasty, cuisine. The wait staff were over the top. I loved cruising on Enchantment of The Sea. However, I did encounter problems with the SPA. I asked for the \"special packg; three services for $79.00. I was charged the regular rate, High pressure sales for products for which I returned. But all products costs were not taken off my bill. I returned to discuss it. It took three calls to get most of issues resolved but I still overpaid. Be careful in SPA.
