Spectacular Cruse

Sail Date: July 26, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Inside

The ship was beautiful, however there were a few things that showed wear and tear. The Solarium roof leaked and felt like it was raining inside during a heavy rain. The Orpheum was very comfortable and the stage was very nice. The rooms were nice.

Pros: Food\, Wait Staff\, Medical Staff

Cons: Guest Service Staff

Recommends Enchantment of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship size was perfect for an 8 night cruise. We had plenty to explore on the ship and felt comfortable with the ship after about a day. The room had a lot of storage for items to be out of the way. Overall\, the ship was very clean.
Food and Dining
The food at the Windjammer was great with all of the International variety. The dining room was great with the attentiveness of the wait staff and all of the gourmet dishes. 6:00 was the perfect time for dinner.
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom lacked electric outlets on the side of the room with the beds. This was inconvenient and unacceptable if you need to use the outlet for a cpap machine.
Service and Staff
Couldn't have been nicer! Nurse Davina and Waiter Lenson were exceptional! Both were so caring and it showed! Thank you!
A lot of the entertainment was geared to the older cruiser with tributes to Neil Diamond\, Frank Sinatra and Elton John. The movies were very good but there were too few and they were repeated several times. The competitions were fun. Our 18 year old daughter didn't find a lot of opportunity to meet friends her age.
Children's Programs
Our 15 year old daughter\, did not find the teen club to have enough activities. The focus seemed to be on the 12-14 year old club. The Fuel was great and the staff seemed great too!
