Wonderful Experience by TonyBern

The trip was wonderful. The dining and rooms were great. The only negative was we could not go to CocoCay. The water was too rough to transport in the tenders. Better to be safe.

2015 Cruise by genia

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This is a great cruise for a quick get-a-way.  We have taken this cruise for several years because we have gotten good deals for this cruise.  The food was very good this year.  I think better then it has been in past years.  The staff on this ship has always been excellent.

Great food and service by mlfisher

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We loved the friendly crew and staff.  Our waiters and room service staff were outstanding and very personable. We would have liked to see more of a mix of programing.   While the nightly entertainers were very good, there was little of interest to us in programing throughout the day.  Some educationally based programs like we have had on other cruise lines would have suited us better than the "cutsie" things like karaoke, etc. Food was very nice, about mid grade from our experience on  other liners.

Great first cruise experience! by fannon

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

!The crew and staff are incredibly friendly. The only complaint I had was that we were unable to go to CoCo Cay due to weather/safety issues which is understandable. Our excursions for CoCoCay were refunded immediately and the crew had a new cruise schedule out immediately. The food was really good and we definitely ate too much! Had a great time and look forward to our next cruise with Royal Caribbean.Happy

Excellent trip! by BrianCD5454

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I took my office on a cruise to reward them for an excellent job and year. The food and service on the cruise was great. I enjoyed the wide variety of activities and we had fun, from dancing in the club, to playing some Blackjack in the casino, to visiting Nassau, Bahamas and the private island Coco Cay. I did enjoy exploring some of Nassau, Bahamas off the beaten path. Atlantis Resort is a must see. Check out the huge aquarium there! I would highly recommend this cruise ship and experience for anyone wanting to travel and have fun for a three day getaway! I will definitely travel on it again!

The staff made the star higher. Food seemed better than it had been. Dining staff were fun, knowledgeable and very professional.

Once you've been to the Bahamas you've pretty much covered the highlights. The Enchantment is beginning to show its age a bit. Also, it isn't big enough to offer as much as some of the other RCCL ships.

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

I had an excellent time on this cruise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All my needs were promptly met and I felt like I was treated like family while aboard the ship. I never felt lost or overwhelmed by the schedule, and I enjoyed all the onboard entertainment that was provided. I'd highly recommend anyone to try out this cruise! :)

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had a good time on Enchantment of the Seas, a lovely ship. Nassau was a bit crazy, Cococay, awesome, shore excursion, awesome (stingray city). The food, service- especially My Fair Lady Dining Room, amenities-solarium, music at poolside and at Centrum was wonderful.Big Smile

Great time for a a family cruise. The staff was super and the kids club did an excellent job with our son. Would do it again but skip Nassau, town was dirty and did not get the feeling it was safe.

We went in not knowing what to expect, and we were so glad we chose this cruise for our vacation. The service and staff were great, and the ship was very clean and well-decorated. The food was very fresh and delicious. The programs were great and definitely brought holiday cheer. 5/5 stars--would definitely choose again and recommend to friends!

Enchantment and Royal dropping in rating by marciacrc3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I cruise allot because I live near Port Canaveral, I have been on both Royal and Carnival reciently and I must tell you I was disappointed with Enchantment this time around. The dinning room service at dinner was excellent. Food was just OK.  The breakfast service on the other hand was not. The staff acted as if they were doing you a favor, the last morning it was like they couldn't get you off fast enough, The cabin stewart was not up to par either this is a first for me, I called and waited over three hours for ice, he forgot to put paper products twice in the bathroom and I had to call. The food is not up to the standard of carnival. Carnival has come a long wayI will go back to carnival

My review by kevb383

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The crew was very accommodating.  The food was very good.  The only thing that downgrades this for me was the bed.  It was not very comfortable.  Other than that, it was a wonderful trip with family and friends.

Nice weekend getaway by sarahwhitehead2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Pros: great service, attentive staff, clean facilities, variety of food

Cons: smaller ship, short cruise... we prefer more time and enjoying at least one or two days at sea.  At times we wanted to use the Jacuzzis but they were all occupied by people who weren't considerate.

Overall it was a great value and we loved relaxing in the hammocks on beautiful coco cay!

What went wrong by masperduti

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cruise itself was fine but I would never book through Cruises Only again. They messed up my reservation from the beginning and I did not receive any of the onboard ship credits I was promised which amounted to $50.  The agent in charge of booking the cruise did not return my phone calls and she appeared to be unable to do her job. The customer service on the ship tried to resolve the matter with Cruises Only and was but on hold for 45 minutes till we finally gave up. Sorry I had this experience but from now on I will only book directly with Royal Caribbean.

good experience by tequilamartin22

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

It was a good experience overall, definitely enjoyed the destination. The rooms were clean and room attendants displayed excellent customer service as well as our personal dinner server, Lady :). There were some opportunities with food options and food/drinks availability. We are on vacation, there should at least be a food/beverage place open 24 hours. Some of the staff were not so friendly as well...mostly the breakfast buffet crew. The waiters were fine; however, a couple seemed to have atttitudes.

Enchantment of the Seas Cruise by baumjam

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Boarding: Easy and quick.  Entertainment: The singers and dancers were the best I have ever seen on a cruise.  Comedians were hysterical. Food: Very Good in all areas of the ship.  Cabins:clean and well taken care of.  Staff: friendly and helpful.

Although this is an older ship, it has been well taken care of and was beautifully decorated for the holiday season.

Coco Cay:  Spent a lovely day on the sandy beaches .  Buffet lunch was fine.

We had 4 days of beautiful sunshine, met lots of great people and had a really good time.

Departure: Really quick.  We were off the ship by 9:15 and we were in the last group.

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

LoveHappyThis is our third time going to Bahamas, but my husband and I enjoyed this trip a lot because we have special occasion to celebrate (our silver anniversary) on top of that the people on dinner room ( Mr. Hemant and Mr. Dovon ) they were excellent. Also Mr. Simplicio did an excellent job on our bedroom. The weather was perfect; in conclusion we had an excellent experience thank you very much to all cruise members for your help and dedication to us.

First Cruisers! by gdlooney

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My husband and I took our 6 semi-adult grandchildren(ages 13-21) on the 4 night Bahama cruise.  The kids were thrilled since it was the first cruise for all but one of them. Although they were excited and thought everything was wonderful, we didn't feel that this trip was one that measured up to Royal Caribbean's standards.  We were disappointed with the dinner menus, since we have always had superb choices and  been served surf and turf at least one evening.  It seemed that things were changed somewhat each evening, but nearly the same thing was offered except in different order on the menu.

Also, the bungy jump was a great disappointment since all you could do was jump up and down.  Certainly, this is was not a well thought out activity to accommodate older children who like to do flips and a few tricks.

Our stateroom was adequate, not as clean as I thought it should be, but this may be do to the fact that the rooms do need some updating.

The evening shows and dance parties were fun and exciting and we all had a grand time dancing and laughing. I'm sure our grandkids will not forget the grand time we had and would tell you they were not disappointed...so on that note I'd have to say...neither were we!
