Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Excellent travel, dining, housekeeping and social engagements.  Love

It would be great if passengers would be able to receive a complete balance due or balance paid in full receipt before leaving the ship.Nervous

Nervous because I like to know before I go.....

AMAZING!!! by aydenn

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The crew were great, the itinerary was awesome (two islands in two days AND a ship day made it great) feels like that vacation you need to take without having to take too much time off work! Definitely worth it, had a great time - don't forget to go to the entertainment shows, dancers and singers are AMAZING!!) Big Smile

Ship is dated by justin1980

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Ship seems to be in disrepair, windows dirty, rust and tripping hazards easily found. Dinners at night were disappointing, small portions, cheap meat cuts, and fish was always way over cooked. Dinning hall lost my card and charged me a 75 dollar tip somehow. Took over an hour for customer service to clear up the charge up. Main dinning hall greater / seating lady was very rude. Need to improve the way you get drinks, you end up spending a lot of time waiting on them to scan cards and have you sign. This causes long wait time and lines, really bad on there private island as you wait for them to right the check out. Ship ran out of mixed drink mix last cruising day.

On the plus

Ship had friendly staff with one exception, Plenty of adult entertainment. Comedy Shows were great! Skip the main dinning hall just use the help your self restaurant on deck 9.

A Fun Girl's Getaway by Cruiser736

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I went with my Mom and best friend for this trip to celebrate my birthday. It was a quick trip, but it felt like we packed a week's worth of fun into a long weekend. Our cabin steward took great care of us; our room was always clean. We enjoyed formal dining and met some interesting table mates. The Stage to Screen show was really fun and the singing was good as usual, but the dancing was really great. This was the smallest ship I have cruised on, but it was nice for a 3 day trip.

Great weekend getaway with my wife by RedAvi8or

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Great cruising weather combined with Royal Caribbean's fantastic service made for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend getaway.  Our bar staff, room attendant (Ramon) and our wait staff were excellent. The Chef's Table for dinner was simply amazing and Chops the next evening were culinary delights.

Mark the Cruise Director, (Bing Bong!), arranged for great shows and events with his colleague, Mo (from Fiji)!

Excellent all-around even though the ship is a dated, it was clean and well kept.

Good job Royal Caribbean - we're coming back for more cruising soon!

Best,

Patrick & Melanie

Spring break nightmare by Marby

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was our 11th cruise and unfortunately it was the only bad experience we have had.  It was spring break, and there was no bar service at all. Royal Carribean basically turned the ship over to the college kids and left the rest of the passengers  to take care of themselves.  The dining room service was great as was our stateroom attendant but that was all that was good. Disembarkation was total chaos limited information as well as staff. I suggest that you put a warning to your clients for the month of March that it is spring break, I don't blame the vacationing college kids, it is the cruise lines responsibility to deal with it. I observed seriously depleted staff and total lack of concern for the comfort of all the other passengers. Dress code for the dining rooms were totally ignored, my husband packed a suit, he could  have "got by " with cut offs and a tank top " like most of this bunch wore.  Very disappointed withRoyal Caribbean!!

Best bday experience by BellaSenia

I had a blast and I recommend that you experience a cruise with royal Caribbean. They have top notch service and staff, and for the price we paid it was well worth it.

spring break by dgrg105

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

It would have been so nice if anywhere the cruise line said over 1800 college students were going to be on this cruise, so I could have made the decision if this was the best cruise for my family.  We were unable to enjoy any time by the pool, they were too loud, drunk and taking up all the seats.  Getting near the bar was impossible anywhere on the boat.  They ran up and down the halls, threw up, passed out and were uncontrollable. The were taking luggage from the hallways, knocking on random doors.  There was no where to hide.

never go during spring break by rstroup

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We had no idea that college spring break started so early in March. The staff on the ship were awesome, but the crowd of spring break college students was obnoxious. We were never able to get into the pool, and the drunkenness was pitiful. The staff told us this lasts for six weeks. I like Royal Caribbean, but will never go during March or the first two weeks of April again!

Wish they would have more shows that are PG or G rated. We were glad our children were not with us to hear off color jokes from the performers.

You have to go on a cruise! by fiddlestixmary

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I love Royal Caribbean! They do a great job of keeping plenty of free activities and fun on the schedule! The food is great and there is enough variety that you can Relax and enjoy or Party it up. I have gone on several and so far have been happy with all of them. If you haven't ever been on a cruise you need to go on at least one! It definitely more fun than driving and it costs less!

Great 30th Anniversary Get Away by brucebackes

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This is our first cruise in many years. We liked the embarkation process. Since everything is brought with you there are no long lines to get documents. We found the ship very nice. The cruise director was very informative and funny. We also liked that fact that you can choose you dining time and that you can have a table for 2. The evening shows were very entertaining, especially the juggler! The tipping policy is understandable but we would have preferred to hand our cash (all of it) directly to our Cabin Steward and Waiter. We feel that this policy takes some of the personal touch out of tipping.

Wonderful! by corrinemjusting

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Especially, the representatives of .  It was our 1st cruise.  They helped me with everything from booking to choosing the best room (my mother had a hard time walking) and transportation.  They were extremly knowledgeable, kind and friendly.  Thank you so much!  We will indeed tell our friends & family as well as book with them again. Everything aboard the Royal Carribean was 1 st class.  I cant comment on our destinations in the Bahama's because the weather was not cooperating so we never left the ship.

Ship review by dlroth

Ship needs updating. Looks worn, especially in cabin.

Self disembarking is a problem. We were not informed of the 2 flights of stairs we had to carry our bags down

had overall great time. staff was PERFECT.  though the weather wasn't great it was a great experience.  the food was always appealing thought the portion sizes in the dining areas were small.  the Windjammer was the place to eat if you wanted more food. however, the wait staff in the dining area, specifically Delvi and Ade, were the best.

Disenchanted by doreenhar89

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Brooks was supposedly investigating our horrific experience regarding our Jr. suite #8638 however, we have not spoken to him since a week ago.  We were supposed to cruise with Enchantment of the Seas, leaving from Port Canaveral, in Florida. Our Junior Suite had a drain pipe or sewer pipe coming down from the ceiling to the floor- at the foot of the bed. Not against the wall. It looked like a stripper pole at the foot of the bed! The top of it was corroded and the metal had green rust on it, running down. Obviously something had been leaking. This was a junior suite with balcony, not a cheap interior room next to the engines. There also was rusty spots on the wall lamps. Not to mention the closet door was hanging off its hinges. The room looked 'tired and used'. A Luxury Junior suite it was not. We complained to the service desk. We asked for a different suite, or gives us some discount- something to keep us on board. They said NO, all the other rooms were booked, and there was no discount for having the Junior Suite with the sewer pipe coming down in the middle of the room. After multiple reps (guest relations desk, then Ruth came down to see our room and finally the head of customer service Ed said 'maybe we can work something out AFTER the ship leaves port. I wasn't going to wait to hear flushing noises from upstairs in the middle of the night. We got right off the ship before it sailed. Wherever the source of fluid originated should not be leaking from my ceiling up against my feet at the foot of my bed. I am appalled that customer service did nothing to try to keep us on the ship. We had to arrange travel back to our home. Seems that once you are on board this ship, its a 'take it or leave it' situation. And most people would suffer thru it, since they already traveled there. Royal Caribbean cares nothing about its guests. Paying extra for a junior suite with balcony means nothing.

A Great Getaway by kimchris91

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We loved our cruise on The Enchantment of the Seas.  There was so much to do.  The weather was beautiful.  We had great time!  We loved kayaking at CocoBay.  We enjoyed the stop at Nassau as we took a cab to Atlantis and spent the day there.  The evening activities were a lot of fun.  I would highly recommend Royal Caribbean Cruise line.

Second time on this ship by Jerilyn

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We sailed a few years ago on this ship. We brought friends with us that were first time cruisers. They loved it!  Ship was clean and everyone was friendly. We had a lot of spring breakers sailing with us, but Royal kept them in line and the whole trip was great!

My second Cruise by donnafalona03

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

First off make sure you have all ID you need for your your trip. I almost missed the boat just made it on the last min. The room we had was better then I thought it was going to be, plenty of space every thing was so neat and clean. The help was very nice too. Coco cay was very beautiful place I want to visit there again. Nassau was nice too. Plenty of food tasted good too. All I can say is we really enjoyed ourselves.

Our Cruise by robkoop

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We enjoyed it very much!

Food was great, service was great!

Disappointed that the pools were not heated. They were cold.

It took the joy out of being on the pool deck.

The islands were good.

Good time!
