Review summary

This is our first cruise in many years. We liked the embarkation process. Since everything is brought with you there are no long lines to get documents. We found the ship very nice. The cruise director was very informative and funny. We also liked that fact that you can choose you dining time and that you can have a table for 2. The evening shows were very entertaining, especially the juggler! The tipping policy is understandable but we would have preferred to hand our cash (all of it) directly to our Cabin Steward and Waiter. We feel that this policy takes some of the personal touch out of tipping.

Service and Staff

Paul in the main dining room was great! Pat was wonderful as a cabin steward. She took the time to know our names! She greeted us whenever we came back to our room.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
This ship is going to need a spruce up pretty soon. It seemed very clean but walls and chairs are getting banged up, and the decor seems dated.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was plenty big for the short time we spent in it. Bed was comfortable. Shower adequate, nice flow of hot water. We appreciated the fact that we could bring a special bottle of champagne and a bottle of wine on board.

Ship tip

We really liked the day at Coco Cay. (even though day was shortened due to high winds). The snorkeling is good right off the beach. The water clear and with beautiful shades of blue. Water was reasonably warm for March, stayed in for 2 hours. The BBQ meal tasted good and there was plenty of food.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

We added a tour of Cape Canaveral Space Center when we got back. Pricey but worth it.

When to you are on the ship go to the service desk and tell them you don't want your tips to be put on your sale in sign card that you are doing cash instead.

How can you choose to tip cash? We are first time cruisers with 4/8/2016 sail date.

You can still choose to do cash for tips.
