Wonderful Cruise by borumjulie12

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Most of the cruise was excellent.  Great Accommodations.  I would like to see more activities on the cruise  such as more music on the decks during down time

better dance parties, more selection on food for room service.

Family crusin by shebie

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My family took a 4 night cruise on Royal Caribbean ( Enchantment of the seas) it was great. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was good. We had no problems with getting on are off ship. We had a great time . The only thing that could have been better was entertainment, and getting something to eat late at night. Our dining hosts Dwight and Edwardo were outstanding. I would definitely take this cruise again.

This had to be one of our favorite cruises. We haven't got one negative thing to say. From boarding to departure it was truly enjoyable. the stateroom attendant, dining room staff, bar tenders and the whole crew just made you feel so welcome and at home. We would highly recommend this cruise!!

First time cruiser-Ship amazing by grantsimsdds

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Though we are frequent travelers, this  was our first cruise and it was to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We were amazed at the ship, Enchantment of the Seas, with the food, the onboard entertainment, and the service from all of the crew members we came in contact with. We didn't like being tethered to our "SeaPass" for everything, even though they made every opportunity to call us by name. We loved the room with balcony. It was clean and spacious. The ports of call in Nassau and Key West were real good, but the people at the stops are on you like flys at a picnic. We did not like Coco Cay at all. It felt like we were cattle. The island just felt very commercialized and was just totally set up to accommodate massive amounts of people. It just turned us off totally. It was not pretty at all in my opinion. There were so many people in and out of the water it was milky, not at all the crystal clear Caribbean we saw at Nassau and Paradise Island. Anyway, we can say we went on a cruise, but doubt we will be doing it again anytime soon.

Dreadful. They need to retire this ship by tvigeant

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Sad This ship needs to either be retired or refurbished.  Everything was either rusted or falling off. We could hear rats in the ceiling above us at night. We were terrified they would fall through onto our bed.

It was the worst cruise I've ever been on, and I've probably been on 20 cruises.

Royal Carribian should not support cruel carriage horse industry by traveling to Bahamas by Tammygibson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cruise was great all except for the stop in the Bahamas - The first thing I witnessed was a skinny horse in 100 degree heat pulling a carriage full of people in the hot road - in bumper to bumper traffic - it was so hot I thought the horse was going to faint and the driver just kept whipping her...I was quite distressed seeing this - It was the first time I witnessed such cruelty. I will never cruise with any ship again that supports the Bahamas until they ban this cruel industry and switch to human peddled covered carts instead.

Great trip, Wonderful People by latishaadams

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise.  The staff was absolutely wonderful. The shows were great, the late night movies were awesome. I would recommend to the trip to others in a heartbeat.  I wished we had more of a variety with the food buffets, same food everyday was kind of boring and the sweets always seemed to lack something.  Pretty desserts but not always great tasting. The one thing that I was truly disappointed with was the bathrooms.  When I went into my bathroom, it did not appear to be clean.  In addition, it always smelled like a port potty.  When I would run water it smelled like sewer.  Didn't want to shower or wash my face with the water.  I did request someone to take a look at it at Guest Services and they sent someone up to take a look at it, however it appeared that the person was unsuccessful in correcting the problem.  Next time I will request they move me to another room.  I was totally dissatisfied with that.  If that happens the next time I will no longer book a cruise, it may be something to do with the fact that we are on water, which can't be rectified, however I don't want to experience it again.

Better Food needed by ptkings

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Cruise was good, but definitely needed better food in the dining room.  Excellent wait staff, brought every entree out, but it was all bland.  Too bad.  Really put a damper on an otherwise good trip.

Not up to the bar by dzungk

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Ship is too old  and overcrowded. Balcony door is rusty and very hard to open. No table for breakfast or lunch. Staff gave conflicted direction. Comparing to Navigator of the sea, it is well below bar.

Summer Fun Stayed Fun by Cruiser87286430

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I had the maximum amount of fun celebrating my bachelorette party on the cruise. The ships activities were great, the food service excellent. They had a lot of gluten free options for my friend and I. The head chef even gave a tour of the buffet once we boarded the ship. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I was so sad to come home to boring dinners and not wake up with sun rises on the ocean.

Food was Terrible and 18% Gratuity too much, not worth it. by rafamusic

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The formal dinner was beautiful, but they named a steak using the word "Manhattan" very low quality thin steak about 3 ounces and it was a bit cold when we go to our table. We then had dinner the second night hoping dinner would be better and it was just as bad. When the 3rd night came my wife decided to skip dinner. Ive been to 2 cruises before this one, but this was the worst one by far.

Enchantment of the Seas by dgorslin

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This is just a mediocre cruise.  It was too short for me.  The food was fair.  The ship was in great shape and very clean.  The service was great.  The nightly entertainment was not good. I would definitely take the cruise excursions as you try to do them on your own and they end up costing the same (the locals, have it all figured out and they are trying to make money). I did not like how they were continually trying to sell you to go the private restaurant.  Getting off at the port was not as easy as it should have been. (Towels on one deck, get off on another).  And, they never told us to take our ID when we got off the boat in the Bahamas and then that was a different customs line.

Not short to want more, not long to be bored by scarpascarpa

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This cruise has the exactly length time, not short to want more, not long to be bored. Note: before my comments, please you must acknowledge that this is a 4 night cruise. Short cruise. Not far routes. So, lower your Allure-Oasis-Harmony cruise type expectations. Not everything is Broadway !!!y. Having that said, here I go....Despite many years on the see, The Enchantment ship does not look aged. Inside you still see and feel the RC class touch, cleanness, great service all time, in any corner.

Took this cruise as last vacation drop before school year starts. In addition to commemorate my daughter's 13th b-day. Suggestion 1: if you want a dinner table only to your family make sure to not only request during cruise booking but also calling customer service in advance (1 or 2 months before) to make sure RC has reserved it for your family.

SHOWS: dancers and singers acting 2 nights. Different shows tough. Nothing in special with highs and lows along with it. Magician Levent is incredibly excellent. Totally worth to watch him.

FOOD: excellent good taste sort of plates as always for RC style.

BAHAMAS: did not book any in advance. Took with us our own snorkeling masks/tube, bottles of water and got walking to Cabbage Beach (3mi / 5km distance). In Bahamas as much as we decided to walk, we did not miss the cab or the ferry towards to Paradise Island. Walking over the bridge gives you an excellent picture point of the port and lined up ships. Deeply I would like to go to Atlantis and enjoy the water park. But to be honest, its cost/benefit is not worth at all. Go to Disney's water parks for less $ and more to enjoy. At the Cabbage Beach jet-skis cost $75 for 1/2 hour. Cry and you get by $60. Wait for all the early birds and get the same 30min for $50. You drive. You take your kid. Your kid drives. Fun fun fun. On the way back to the port we walked back to the bridge and took the ferry, $4/person.

Tip: in Nassau you find everywhere the Tortuga Rum Cake. Well, not the best. The best one at the best price is sold at BACARDI shop house (3 blocks left from the port, red corner house at main street to the bridges Paradise islands). Bacardi Rum Cake $ 17. Awesome.

COCO KAY: also, no pre-booked excursions. Bought tough the water-splash pass (1 hour) for my kids meanwhile relaxing under the shadows. Take towels from the ship with you.

KEY WEST: no booked excursions. Did the main tourist tours by walking. to South point, Hemingway house. Do not miss the incredible Key Lime choco stick at Key Lime Pie Company (511 Greene St).

And that was it.......A cruise not short to want more, not long to be bored.

Good Trip by denden4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The cruise was fine.  The food wasn't as good as you might think.  The trip to CoCo Kay was below average. While on CoCo Kay the BBQ was hambergers and hot dogs with cookies and brownies - this was terrible.  The worst food I have had in some time.  The cost of the drinks was very expensive.  The excursion prices changed between the published price and the price charged.  It wasn't the deal I remember cruises to be.
