Review summary

This ship needs to either be retired or refurbished. Everything was either rusted or falling off. We could hear rats in the ceiling above us at night. We were terrified they would fall through onto our bed.

It was the worst cruise I've ever been on, and I've probably been on 20 cruises.

The handle feel off the balcony door when we tried to open it. The floor would get soaked for no reason. There were rats nesting in the ceiling. Yikes.

Cruised Enchantment last summer and was not impressed- dated and musty. Staff was decent but not superb-

I agree with kknorr about the staff - Enchantment's team was great when we were on her. Service was great! However, there is no denying it is an old ship. Two of my cruises had very strong sewage orders in many places and a fair amount of rust around. Cruises are what you make of it though and you get what you pay for.

Enchantment is one of our favorites. You were probably hearing activity in the cabin or area above you. It's an older but beautiful ship. If it was in a port close to us, we would sail it often

I agree that it is a dated ship. It is an old Comfort Inn rather than a newer Radisson. Think of Enchantment as a not-so-expensive way of getting to CoCo. I haven't seen rats on Coco, just chickens

Was on the Enchantment in July and granted it was older ...smaller ship...but it was clean and beautiful. The staff were excellent. The food was wonderful. Enjoyed the ship very much. Very relaxed fun time. Cruise was just to short.
