The Ship Needs to Be Dry Docked by KimM12

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Bermuda

This ship is so outdated and needs to be drydocked and taken out of circulation. Royal Carribean has always had a reputation for Quality Products. It would appear that they have gone from Quality to Quanity. Overbooking to such make a diollar.

A great cruise by CharlesE5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean

We were very impressed with the ship. The entertaianment was the best we have had on any cruise. There was one drawback to the entertainment. The theater is too small. For the first show you had to arrive an hour early to get a seat. It was not pleasent to sit ther for an hour waiting. It would be helpful if some kind of amusement was added for that hour. The food was fair. The ship staff was great. The room attendant and waiters were excellent.

A good weather cruise by BillF5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean

The ship was old looking on board. Some of the paint was chipping off the metal or was rusting. The crew was very nice. The nightly shows were good. It seemed like they were severing Hamburger and Hotdogs everywhere on the ship, not very healthy.

The Ship is on the older side but was clean. The Food was above average to very good. The dining room service was excellent. There were plenty of lounge chairs available on the outside decks. I would go again.

Nothing exceptional by JeanB5

Sail date: /
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean

Whether due to the econonomy or something else, I felt the food was not up to what I had expected. We had trouble with getting on the ship ( a long delay of hours); four of us were traveling together and they had us at two separate tables in the dining room which we had to take care of; the excursions we booked were not all good, one in particular was a waste of our money. There were other "screw ups" suc h as showing us as "cash" customers even though we had registered our credit cards. The ports of call were good.

Don't waste your time by ScottW6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Parking at Baltimore was smooth and a pleasure to use. Then it went down hill. It took 1.15 hours to check-in. Supposedly because the Norovirus had broke out on the previous cruise, it threw everything into chaos because the ship had to be scrubbed down. We were not able to get into our rooms until after 4PM. Then everybody's luggage was scattered about the 2nd/3rd decks. Luggage was not delivered and we had to search for it and carry it ourself to our stateroom. We never met nor saw our cabin steward until the following day. Due to weather/high winds, instead of departing at 4PM, we departed at 3AM. Supposedly due to this, the Captain decided to eliminate Key West (the best port of call) and give us extra time in Port Canaveral which has nothing! The activities on board were minimal. The picture on the RCC web site of our stateroom had a sofa but when we arrived it only had a chair. I asked about getting a room with a sofa and was told none were available. We are seasoned cruise travelers and always used Princess in the past. Unfortunately we tried RCC and overall was disappointed. Also unfortunately we chose a cruise during the same time that New York schools was on spring break so there were 500-600 kids on board. They were everywhere........including the bars!!!! There was no escape from them!

The ship, while older, was very clean and seemed well maintained. Shopping was less than other ships I had been on, but was unneeded for our enjoyment. the food was very good. a good variety and a wait staff that was excelent and well trained.

Great Cruise but with some low points by SantoshV

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

It is a very good cruise liner with ample activities and great crew. They still have to work on including the vegetarians and vegans with their veggie selections. Every single buffet had food that could have been vegetable based but they always mixed in shrimp or meat or fish into the rice dishes. They could have had the vegetarian version and provided the meat/seafood on the side. On Coco cay, they boasted about their barbeque lunch but no veggie patties or grilled vegetables. the vegetarians had to make do with salad and bread. Having said that, the vegetarians didn't starve. They always ensured that there was salad and a couple of veggie dishes.
