Great for the casual traveler

Sail Date: February 07, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship, while older, was very clean and seemed well maintained. Shopping was less than other ships I had been on, but was unneeded for our enjoyment. the food was very good. a good variety and a wait staff that was excelent and well trained.

Pros: ease of getting to and from the ship and the port of calls

Cons: The ship was predominatly an old crowd. And when the virus broke out there was near panic

Recommends Enchantment of the Seas? Yes!

Ship Quality
Our ship was very nice. our only issue was on the trip down around the cape. the stabilizers did not seem as good as on other ships and we had some issues among the passengers.
Food and Dining
first rate food and service.
Cabin / Stateroom
We liked our cabin. it had plently of room with two small windows. It did not give us a view but added storage space and volumn to the room that some others did not have.
Service and Staff
Almost without an exception the stoff was first class
Entertainment
We enjoyed almost all the entertainment.
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
great beach and facilities. We would not go to the artisans area again
Don't Miss: the dragon point
Road Town, Tortola, B.V.I.
had a great time, visited the sites on the island and went to the beaches
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
had a great time, visited the sites on the island and went to the beaches
San Juan, Puerto Rico
We would like to spend more time here. We had a great time going to the fort and the old San juan area.
Don't Miss: For history buffs like myself, definitly the old town and fort.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
i was dissapointed some with the level of poverty and cleanliness
