Cruise could not have gone better. Entire staff works hard to ensure you have a great time.

Our first Mediterranean cruise and we enjoyed it. Princess did everything they could to make it a good experience for us.

This was just an incredible cruise. We saw and experienced so much beauty and history all rolled together. This is a must do cruise! We did the full 22 days Barcelona RT.

We sailed on the Emerald Princess this May on the repositioning TA from Ft Lauderdale to Barcelona. The staff were wonderful, food delicious and entertainment on form. So much so that we have booked another week on her this August from Barcelona to Rome!!

Highly recommended the itinerary. The Princess folks have it down, and offer a good value for a great memory.

Overall, we recommend both the Emerald Princess and also this itinerary. We had a fabulous time and really enjoyed the trip! The Panama Canal is a "must see" for any traveler and Princess does it right

We saw way to much property had hoped to see beautiful birds and flowers not dirt and sad poor people. And it was so hot and humid witch didn't help

We really enjoyed our three night repositioning cruise from Vancouver to LA! The Emerald was just out of dry dock with new carpet and fresh paint, although some of the furnishings are still showing wear. The food was excellent and the service was superb! The sea days were just what we needed to relax and plan our next cruise! And we win at Bingo so that was a plus! And they still used plastic straws! Another bonus as some drinks don’t lend themselves to “no straw” or “paper straws”.

Overall a good time but not spectacular for the most part - food was good but not amazing, and the amenities were good but nothing outstanding.

Curious line is good, relaxing after Disneyland. Kids club’s organization is poor. Food is excellent and activities are fun.

This was a repositioning cruise with three sea days, just a relaxing cruise.

Really enjoyed this trip. Loved the sea days and we enjoyed all the ports.

Overall I enjoyed it, nothing is ever perfect! If you are after perfect, you can stay home and try to achieve it yourself! I do think that princess could come up with something for solo travellers, so that they are not having to pay double the money. There were a lot of solo travellers on this cruise.

A big ship that made us relax and enjoy my wife’s 50th birthday at sea. Loved the sea days to and from Hawaii. Enjoyed the cruise overall and Liza by the pool was great. Pizza by the pool was awesome and we enjoyed watching movies on the big screen. All staff made a effort to make the cruise enjoyable but it’s not a party ship and the food was ok but not amazing. cabins are dated but clean and practical. Hawaii was awesome as were shore excursions and our time in Ensenada was fun as well.

Fine cruise. Enjoyed it but the ship was a dissappointment. Princess should have dry docked her sooner. There are not enough inside spaces for cool weather. Theatre is too small. Hot tub jets were barely working. Horizon court was old and crowded lay out. They herded us into lines to go through and should have had more choices. The furniture was sticky and old. The pizza was fantastic though. Explorers Lounge needs updating and so does the piazza furniture. There were actual rips in the chair cushions. Just not up to Princess' standards.

What a wonderful itinerary! Highly recommended if you love being at sea and five star treatment for a reasonable price.

Pros: Excellent service from all Princess employees including stewards, waiters, maitre D’s, etc. Excellent pizza bar. The best pizza I have ever had on a cruise ship. Some days I would consider missing dinner and just eating pizza. Much better pizza than other princess ships. Good onboard shopping with reasonable prices. Relaxing and easy way to see the Hawaiian islands. Good poolside service with relaxing days at sea. Fun ship activities. Adequate time in jey port like Honalulu ulu to see the sights. Good specialty restaurants that serve excellent food. Cons: The main dining room food was only average and had a lot of preservatives in the food. I had to walk my children out of one of the ship’s dancer performances due to non-family friendly entertainment. The soft serve ice cream at poolside was tasted like it had no dairy in it and was not good.

Very sorry to say the food quality in the MDR has continued its death spiral. With the exception of a few starters the remaining food was tasteless. The princess cost cutting program is in it's second year and becoming more obvious around the ship. As usual the only thing that saved the cruise was great servers and our bartenders. Outstanding! So. How bad was the food? Well have a look at the lobster tail and as they say a pics worth a thousand words. Not to mention it was over cooked ans and resembled a rubber pet play toy from Petco that squeaks. The second lobster might we refused the lobster and the staff bought it anyway because they wanted lobsters on the tables to show people would eat them. On a positive note we ate at Shares twice and it was superb! What a treat...as good as any 5 star restaurant ans for $30each its well worth it. Of course the WIFI was totally ineffective and we were told to use it at dinner times and also after midnight. This old girl has been sailing for 12 years now and is very tired in many ways. Due for drydock after next cruise.
