Review summary

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. This was our second with Princess, the first being an Alaska cruise. There were staff members availabel all the timw, especially in the dining rooms. The weather was great, so that made it the more enjoyable. Staff are the friendliest people! We will go again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The buffets were excellent. The food was always fresh and appetizing to look at and even better to eat. There was always a large variety of meats, veggies, fruit, pastries and other desserts.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We mostly relaxed, and enjoyed the sea and the scenery when we could.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The entertainment was very good.

Children's Programs

We didn't bring kids.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Richie was our cabin steward. I can't say enough about him. He took great care of us. Our cabin was always clean as a whistle. Marian in Slice, the pizzeria, was also very good, and very friendly and easy to talk to. Tetiana in the ice cream shop was also very good.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was in great shape. Very clean and in good repair. It's getting up there in years, but still a great ship to cruise on.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Quiet, clean, roomy for a cruise. The bathroom was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. TV was large and there was a good variety of programming when we wanted it.

Disembarkation

Getting off the ship was well organized. After we were off is when things fell apart. When 3000 people are standing on the pier at once, it would be helpful if there were Princess staffers available to answer questions and provide guidance. We had a transfer to the airport, and there was no one there to help us find the line, and then there were only two buses to carry four bus loads of people. We waited an hour and a half to board.
