Review summary

This cruise was actually 25 days. It did not end in Barcelona. Many people got off and just as many got back on to take the second half of the cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth. We always Come to the embarkation port two or three days early..

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We (a party of 20) dined in the Botticelli dining room for almost every evening meal. Service was superior. We had three tables together to each for 8 and one for 4. We eventually stopped ordering beef. Seldom cooked as desired and always covered with gravy. Lamb tasted more like mutton. Lido (Fresh Market) was the choice for almost every breakfast and lunch. Especially if we were going on the tour.

Onboard Activities

Ship tip

All cruise ships have their faults just go with the flow and enjoy.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
We always arrive two or three days early at the embarkation port. We book all our excursions early using a non-ship vendor. The last thing you want to happen is to miss embarkation because of an airplane delay.

Kotor, Montenegro

And unexpected delight.

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Along with Kotor, The two best ports

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

Not to be missed, especially the new acropolis museum.

Santorini, Greece

3 out of 5
Disappointing. Very very crowded.

Katakolon (Olympia), Greece

4 out of 5
A rainy day dampened our spirits but the honey farm and winery made it all great

Ajaccio, Corsica

3 out of 5
Weather affected visit. No tour booked.

Sete (Carcassonne), France Did not visit port

Weather caused the ship to skip this port So we could get to Barcelona on time the next day.

Barcelona, Spain

Love this port. We did not disembark from the cruise in Barcelona but continued on to transatlantic cruise to Fort Lauderdale.
