Magical! by FarfisaJones

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Disney Magic

First cruise maybe set the bar a little too high for our future cruises! If you’re a Disney family, this is an experience you’ll never regret (or forget). Not only are you well taken care of, you’re surrounded by Disney past and present. Movie theater, fireworks, Disney characters, and so much more. Now who do I talk to about them having a DTV channel?!

Best of the Bahamas by MaelstromTroll

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This trip was a 40th Birthday gift to my beautiful wife and our first vacation without our daughter (ever!). We were a little hesitant about whether we would be able to relax or not but after the first night we were in full vacation mode. In fact, we wish we would have been able to do a full 7 nighter! At any rate, we were plenty busy when the ship was at port and we spent a lot of time with our new table friends. I highly recommend the 4 night Disney cruises to anyone new to cruising or pinched for time.

We stayed a little more... by MaelstromTroll

Sail date: /
Ship: Disney Magic

We stayed a little more forward than usual but we really liked 2508. Our room host was excellent and our room was very clean. The new Rapunzel’s Royal Table is a great restaurant with fun, raucous entertainment but is a little loud. Lumiere’s and Animators Palatte are also good but are nearly identical to Tritons and AP on the Wonder. Palo again is identical but as always is a wonderful meal. We liked the 3 port/4 night itinerary as we got to see a lot but we kept super busy. We missed having a sea day to be lazy on. Luckily the weather on our Castaway Cay day was perfect and we had plenty of time to chill. Another great Disney Cruise!

One Word...Awesome! by ukulani

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group

The Disney ships are the best on the 7 seas! Service, staff, food and ship activities, fireworks and Disney Island are the best in the industry!

Good, but needs help by JKnop1021

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Disney does a good job over all. Based on 2 Disney cruises, the food and service was lower quality on the older ship.

Great first cruise with a few caveats. by Jenisceuising07

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Very pleasant and relaxing cruise. Totally worth getting an ocean view cabin. Not worth paying to be further up in my opinion (I was on deck 2). Worth avoiding deck 1 as these cabins only have two small port hole. Deck 2 and above have one larger one which provides a great view.

Relaxing January getaway by PlutoGirl

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Very nice winter getaway 4 night cruise before the kids went back to school. Very relaxing and low key for us (because that's what we wanted from it). Our only major issue was on embarkation and after that it was smooth sailing. My son didn't get to parasail on Castaway Cay but since its our third cruise, he knows that is a 50/50 chance since it seems to often be very windy in January and most excursions there get cancelled (at least on every cruise we've been on). it was the first time he was big enough to try it. We're planning to try again next year!

Cabins are beautiful, ship is... by rjbuhrer

Sail date: /
Ship: Disney Magic

Cabins are beautiful, ship is in pristine condition, service is impeccable, food is great, clientele is above and beyond and overall DCL is amazing and above so many other lines. If you are going on any Disney Cruise, I recommend you book a night at the upcharge dining (Palo is AMAZING) and you buy at least one Disney themed shirt. Even in port, you know who is on your cruise because everyone is decked out in Disney clothing!

Loved ! Almost everything by DC1022

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I honestly expected a lot more. I took my three year old Grandson and he got very tired waiting in line to see the characters. And a couple of times the characters had to leave as they were out of time so we waited for nothing.

Magical fun aboard the Magic by booklover555

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

A Disney cruise is the best when traveling with children. The programming for them is phenomenal as are the childcare workers. The character and princess meet and greets are magical. There is no rush and the princesses truly engage with your child. The waitstaff at the restaurants are the best. They travel with you to each restaurant and really get to know everyone in your group.

Bermuda Cruise on the Disney Magic by DJShoe

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Bermuda

This is my 5th Disney Cruise. I will not go back on the Magic again. I really enjoy the smaller ships but I enjoy food more. This was the worst food I have ever had. My 12 year old was bored and sat in the cabin watching tv most of the cruise. I never got to enjoy the balcony in the room because the smoking area was above it and when you opened the door the smell just killed you. They really need to have a warning about that when you book the room.

Excellent by maximus75

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Magic / Destination: Bermuda

We love the Magic. Because its not huge, the pools and common areas aren’t super crowded. The ship is immaculate. Crew members are always cleaning and touching up paint. The inside is updated and classy. The shows are awesome. Although the food isn’t the best I’ve had, it is very good.

Disney Magic was Our 1st and is Still Our Favorite DCL Ship. The Service was Superb as Always and Really Enjoyed the New (MDR) Restaurant Rapunsal's Royal Table. We Did the 10/13/18 N.Y. to Bermuda Sailing and LOVED it (Ship, Itinerary, Etc).
