Pirate night is fun, be sure and pack something to wear although there are plenty of options on board for the younger set and they give everyone bandanas.

Pirate Night was a blast - we had made shirts for everyone and the boys had their own swords, eye patches and head scarves (given out by Disney). Really didn't have to dress up in the 3 restaurants - there were some that dressed every night - we basically dressed casual in all restaurants.

BE SURE TO PREP YOUR DAY SO YOU DONT MISS OUT ON ANY GOOD ACTIVITIES! WAKE UP EARLY, ENJOY BREAKFAST WATCHING THE SUN RISE AND START YOUR DAY...TAKE THE 4 DAY, THE 3 DAY IS TOO QUICK WHERE YOU WAKE UP OVERNIGHT TO CASTAWAY BAY AFTER A LONG NIGHT OF DANCING ON DECK TILL 12PM

Bring Pirate clothes to dress up for pirate night. Also look at the events before hand. For example there were holloween events setup while we were there and kids were dressed up.

Didn't know it was a Halloween themed cruise - received no notification and wish I would have been more prepared, at least with a costume for my daughter. Also, think the character photo opps should be reserved for children or adults with kids. Too many adults taking up the lines and time.

If wanting to meet the characters plan to stand in lots of lines all the time The pools are very small so don't plan on swimming much
